Giving Thanks
I gave thanks for the food I ate today
To tell God how much I appreciate
Every blessing he gives me, every breath I take.
I gave three thanks for the love I had
Two thanks for the love I'll have
I gave one thanks for every minute of everyday

How to I rid?
So sick of feelings unexplained
So sick of feelings untreated
So done with the fact that I have to be done
So gone, but yet I cannot run
So done with writing that sappy love poem
So done, now start up with feeling alone
So done with making poems all about you
So ill, but the thrill of the thought of us two:
Still so stick in my head
So how do I rid?

Fear III
I let life be
I don't claim others
Trust me that mindset
Will never tear my from my brothers
Yet I still wonder
How I'm still standing here
Up on my two feet
Holding up against fear
Yet fear itself
Is still why I fear
That statement is old yet true
And I hold is near and dear
I swear I won't be consumed
Because fear only scares me
With fear, brave is assumed
But to me, it's a guarantee

Unbelievable Is What the World Is
Sonnet-
Unbelievable is what the world is
Racism, terrorism, scarcity
How can we all go on living like this
Killing in all the Wars, we share pity
Here in America, we can share peace
We must live together, or die alone
We should sit down like the pilgrams and just feast
A soldiers scars will forever be shown
No matter the person, we are equal
Anyones race, religion, skin color
Let's Hope we don't have a World War sequal
Had two World Wars do not want another
Unbelievable is what the world is
Peace, Love, Happiness, and we can stop this

Honesty flying around
The stories inconsistent
You tell me one thing
Another tells me different
Is there any truth left?
Are your words true words?
I know a lie's alive
I've been assured and reassured
Truth and lies
Fake or real
Messin' with my mind
Just take and steal

Literally, no lie
My eye for truth

Wow, I couldn't believe it
Couldn't believe I believed you
I asked ' Is it only me? '
You said 'yeah baby, it's just you'

Did you think you'd succeed?

My soul intentions are good
But I'm getting the feeling
