Life Is Not All Candy Canes And Butterflies

Life is not all candy canes and butterflies. We have a little fun, but in the end everybody dies. Everyday I put on a smile, to hide the emotion inside. When underneath it all, my heart is ripped open wide. Screwing things up, feels like it's becoming a skill. I just want things to settle, I want my troubles to stand still. I find things to help, to cover up the pain. I'll try anything just to feel a little sane. I did this to myself, I am the one to blame. Lifes not so fun to me, it feels like a sick game. Because life is not all candy canes and butterflies. We have a little fun, but in the end everybody dies.
