Feliz Cumpleaños, Mi Amor

Dulce amor, hoy es tu cumpleaños
No puedo darte
Regalos ostentosos,
Sin embargo, quiero pintar tus mejillas
Con besos de felicidad,
En tu pequeño nido.
Quiero enterrar mi corazón
Lentamente en tus manos,
Así que nunca podemos separar.
Quiero ofrecerte
Mis poemas, mi prosa, mis versos, mi sonrisa,

Let’s Remain Friends

Love is capable
Of ruining our marvelous friendship
And destroying our great relationship.

Love is culpable
In every instance, where strong feelings
Are engaged. Love stings
Like the nocturnal killer bees
Like the flower hat jellies of the shallow seas.

Let’s remain friends
Let’s shake hands
And avoid the kisses and the hugs
So we won’t stain our velvety rugs.

Love is a deadly harpoon
With a sharp and invisible blade
Love is an unpredictable weapon.

Let’s not drink that Kool-aid

A day
That I’ll always remember
A very somber DAY
A very sad day
A day to ponder
A day to wonder
A day
Not like any other day
A very unusual day
A day to pray
A day to say
A day of madness
A day of sadness
Oh! my God
A very crazy day
A day to respect the Lord
A day of hell
A day to hail
The Almighty
With respect and dignity

No Other Woman Like You

Your fragrance
Your silence
Your way of gazing at me
Your kisses sting me
And energize my very existence
Oh! Heaven, this makes a lot of sense
Life is beautiful
When love is plentiful!

Your voice
The moist
Lips
The sensory tips
Of your nose and tongue
The symphonious song
That never goes away
And the morphine that keeps me at bay.

There is no other woman like you
You are unique and sensational

I Love You Because

I love you because
Of your long frog toes,
Your strong and gentle body,
Your great personality,
Your angelic smile,
Your classic style,
Your determination to succeed,
Your ability to lead,
Your soft and spongy mouth
And your contagious laugh.
The attributes that I don’t like
About you are not important
I only focus on what’s relevant
And not on the petty peas that I dislike.
I recognize that you are not perfect
However, I can attest that you are correct.

I love you for other unbeknown reasons,
For being all year long
My spring and summer seasons,

You Want Me To Prove…

You want me to prove
You that I love
You, jolly Lily
Every time I see
You, you turn me into
A docile dove
The serum of my body
Boils on the stove
Of your coup d’oeil
You woke me up
It is an instant réveil
Yes, I became your zombie
You pumped me up
Yes, you turned me into
Whatever is your desire
You injected the fire
In my veins, in my soul
And I became your fool.

You want me to prove

Certains Morts

Le repos qu'ils cherchaient depuis le premier bond du cœur;
Ils sont désormais, loin de la peur, de la peine et des douleurs.

A Tribute to Ms. Lena Horne

All God’s creatures are beautiful, however,
The Almighty took a little bit extra-time
To accomplish this legendary jazz singer.

I am talking about Lena Horne. In her prime,
She denounced racism, the ugliness that existed
In our society; unfortunately, this cancer
Is still around, it has not been eradicated.

This singing bird was the epitome of beauty,
She was wonderful inside and outside.
Her charms, bravery and charisma will glide
For a long time; she left an indelible mark on this society.

Ms. Horne took her last breath this morning,
She departed with pride and style.
She was a treasure, an exquisite darling
That will forever nourish my inspiring mind.

Bon voyage! May God’s lights continue

Bring Me a Poem, Sing Me a Song

Sing me a song, read me a poem
Bring a poem, sing me a song
Sing me a "Je t'aime"
And don't stop reading the long
And beautiful poem that I composed for you
Oh! The moon is bright and the sky is blue
Keep on reading, keep on singing
Bring me the flowers of summer and spring
Keep on singing, keep on reading.

Canta me una bella canción.
Teach me a wonderful lesson.
Love is in the air, the poets are happy,
And the women at the beach are really pretty.
Bring me a poem, sing me a song;
This time, you cannot go wrong.
Sing me a song; read me a long poem,
So I can enjoy this fantastic season,
For the right and appropriate reason,
Because you just told me "Que tu m'aimes,

Tomorrow Is Here

Some would dare to say that there is no tomorrow.
As long as we are alive, there will be another day
To dream, imagine, hope and wipe away our sorrow.
Make the best of every day is the only way
To deal with this extraordinary concept.

Few would candidly accept
That tomorrow is just another day
To giggle, laugh, work, pray and play.
Tomorrow is here, tomorrow is today;
Make the best of it without going astray.

The flowers that you enjoy have a future.
Tomorrow is today. Mother Nature
Will always be here, in spite of the constant changes;
Seasons come and go. We come and go like the seasons,
Which come and go like tomorrow.

Tomorrow is here, plan well today
To alleviate the pains and diminish the worries.
