Love is like a wild red rose
Friendship, like an apple tree
The apple tree is dark when the red rose blooms
But which will bloom predominantly?
The wild red rose is sweet in Spring
Its Summer blossoms scent the air
Yet wait 'til Winter's finally here,
Will the red rose still be there?

It's funny how the minutes seem to fly away
When I hang out around you every single day
It's funny how the hours seem to disappear
When you come over and we're both together here
It's funny how the words I say seem to just fade out
When you explain to me you know what they're about
It's funny how the songs we sing seem to matter less

Hard to Explain
Love is such a pretty thing
But if you do it by force
It can ruin everything
And will bring you remorse
At first love blooms
Like a flower during Spring
And its scent is like perfumes
That together sweetness bring
As it goes on, things kind of change
When the rain begins to fall
Everything becomes so strange
Suddenly, you hit the wall
Then the worst thing happens
I become a victim of rape
And our bond suddenly bends
Eventually you let me escape
It will be hard to explain
To my baby that his dad
Is his uncle and that pain
Is a scar that makes you sad...
