Skyward Pray

She stands on threshold, him to wait
and seasons pass, it was her Spring,
his smile to crown the Hills of late,
war to confront his Heaven's gate,
benign her face his heart will sting,
soldier's contrition minds to cling,
dark angels drift above his fate,
fromward revenge and his gun-sling.

Who's on the golden cross she wore,
forced mountain winds the souls to stray,
upon his land the rain streams fore,
the rivulets flow down the shore,
chrysanthemums blossoms to sway,
the raindrops fall and dance and fray,
The skies rhyme on red fountain gore,
Her verses rhyme and skyward pray.

Crown Of Laurel

Amidst high clouds rises divine Kingdom;
of honor Gods dwell securely bestow
to those knights serving mortal wisdom,
scintillant souls, halcyons, in skies glow;

Olympus peaks firm stance sacred emblem;
Nymphs sing paeans to men of prowess,
as skulls and bones legions abide and aim,
to accented domes celestial boats egress.

Amid green woods, Dryads honor, 'n' twine,
Assess virtues in sounds of chords to allay;
crown of laurel on hairbreadth you 'll dine,
with Persephone, upon green fields to lay;

Soldier gallivants fetes in modes of aves,
as Siren maids in brines sing nice of loves!

Blest many days

Blest many days

Blest many days, I wore your cross,
dim lantern alleys, remote felt me,
content wishes - hopes to emboss,
in musing scripts of my ink blue sea.

In my files I was values unaltered,
ways of solitude and rhythmic waves,
an unworldly ode of notes clustered,
where prowess smiles from graves.

In these scripts I became a reason,
for pondering minds to express light,
in wars innumerate sheds of crimson,
where eligible Nymphs tend my rite.

And there Dryads smiled friendly,
so I became a verse and a rhyme;
we were in a far prairie, unworldly,

Dew Drops

Outranged's the meadow's faraway,
where sky sheds winter's first cold drops,
the lyre of winds in bogs will play,
nocturnal dance and moon's ballet,
the shelter sheds will ring sky drops,
silence responds - her voice atop,
the blooms in mists salute and sway,
tis where she felt her tears' dew drops.

Commendable the feast expands,
in time the dancers reach the fair,
rain drops will fall on green dewed grass,
musicians' violins and trumps,
her siren's voice responds with flair,
night solitude's bird singers stare,
in mists salute the wraiths who pass,
as rain drops dew her face and flare.

Laughing Mauves

He fled beyond sea-roads, in mists;
where sirens' songs enchant sea men,
in fogs odd sorrows are dismissed,
shorelines' harpsichord organists,
betimes to keep requests withheld,
conceptual forms are nuptial veiled,
residing schemes in mind's earnest,
where scopes spread on white sails.

But when he called the maid's sprite
her wraith like clouds fled to aboves;
shoreline of rocks was fogged in sight,
remote the beacon's sends dim light,
where solitude wore velvet gloves,
and blurred horizons' mist to trust,
sea men (old ghosts) will dance at night,
and laugh in fields of greens and mauves.

Stars define

I recall trees foliage above
a sky was, 'n' distant stars;
the bitter wind and iron bars,
to keep us locked from love.

Lone echoes from night birds,
to cry in vastness and beset,
my pride's error - eyes wet,
hopes left out, and our words.

wishes that absconded young,
in prime times - of eighteen,
sepia tones, trees evergreen,
in foliage of dark sky among.

Abstinent solitude of then
allows love memories hereby
amidst winds that tear decry,
and crowns solitude to begin;

Winter Knots

With near rhymes elegantly
she expressed her dimension
waves echo a right ascension,
a faint smile of grace to me;

as echoes of voices increase,
angels send winds to transfer,
what is our solitude of after,
that sought verses to freeze?

Thoroughness of a blunt cold;
we are used to this exposure,
an iciness of mind composure,
declared vociferous and bold.

Holy children of a past time,
run after memories and pulse,
join to laugh, wraiths divulse,
now became laurel and thyme.

Rhiannon Red

Seamair on pasture slopes in bog,
a mizzle to thump on lone carraig,
your lines grass on meadow segue,
slow rain's dew drops that fall in fog.

O smile of green pure pastures' forms,
your verse confers a pot of bas'l,
esthetic glare on paths of Ang'l,
and scenic drawings of crayons.

Strophes recite on two mast brig,
the sails impart to lands Gaelic
Tá tú go h-álainn Erin Aeolic
Tá tú go h-álainn almond green twig
..................................

I 'll see you again on the prairie,
third of the month humble eyes to pass,
old o' the Irish in the glass,
from Er'n go Bragh to serve unwary.

Annabel

Elusive wraith haunted me,
ideally I felt to approach her,
maybe she lived in a pine tree,
intangible, splendid and fair..

Nightly moon, our emotions,
euphoriant we danced in air,
abstinent needs and notions,
star visions in a sky to stare.

Our tree pines foliage dither,
winds whisper amid needles,
Annabel of March will shiver
a cold lone snowflake fiddles.

Annabel in cold March of 89,
waits to embrace winds again,
it is that same Spring of mine,
that forth will mizzle our rain.

Following Rails

I recall my lives extending to bounds
in repleted white-blue to hang light;
and then to follow rivulets of insight,
of a brass horn, to upload sounds.

I salute them then, and they respond;
fine to accompany my climb to heights;
there my lives visit stars in flights,
and glances are reflected in a pond.

I recall her stare, following the rails
with roses on lips that wished well;
benevolent phrases, among vines dwell,
but expend as solitude to sorrow fails.

I kiss her stare in dimensions humble,
in dusk she gleams and nightly shines;
the hopes of my inspirations, decline,
when sun rays illumine them ample.
