Nai Zindagi Naya Jeevan

New way new life.

Imagine the possibilities.
How many situations,
Conflicts great and small
Would benefit
From applying this simple mantra?
I remember vividly
Watching avidly
As Nai Zindagi Naya Jeevan
Appeared on the TV.
I was consumed
By the vibrant culture.
Then I'd go to school
And tell Zahid
What I'd seen.

Virago

No longer the fall guy you used to require
All those old photos burn well on my fire
The carcass of love on a funeral pyre
Thank God your apprentice I failed to sire
You'll fly high and free with unsated desire
While your cravings degenerate into the mire
No doubt to harangue and defame you'll conspire
But then so be it, vengeance will be dire
From the start of the end you are branded a liar.

Chairman Miaow

Stealthy, silent, sleek in darkness
Fluid feline's fearless progress
Patrolling, probing, paws with flick knives
Agile, adept, armed with nine lives

Domesticated yet one step from wild
Hunts to kill, then plays like a child
Explosive reflex, power and grace
Laser sharp eyes pare through space

A territorial dispute erupts
A flurry of flying fur in tufts
A chilling howl, a scream of pain
The vanquished flees, victor remains

Dawn brings her to the back door
With feathered gift upon the floor
She's looking up as if to say
'Here's my good deed for the day'
