If i was rich,
i'd buy lots of things,
glitzy bits,
and diamond rings,
there would be,
no money rashings,
i'd have to follow,
the trendy fashions,
i'd eat out in expensive places,
and you would still see,
the same old wasters,
if i were rich,
i'd have no money worries,
i would get down to the shops in a hurry,
but i'm not rich,
and i never will be,

Todays sunshine!
I took a trip to Southwold,
on this cloudy day,
i was on my own,
and the sky was really grey,
the clouds cast big shadows,
up and down each wall,
i thought the skies would open,
and i would watch the rain fall,
i walked down the high street,
along the stoney path,
and i heard someone,
in the distance laugh,
this nstantly made me smile,
which lasted quite a while,
the man upstairs,
must have seen that smile of mine,

Sometimes i feel like i' drowning,
someone throw me a line,
sometimes i feel like giving up,
but pretend i'm doing fine,
