A Force
Change comes uninvited
By force
Or unwelcomed
That tree is no longer a tree
It's a log
The streets lead somewhere else now
Where were you going?

The Musician
The piano came to me
It could not find the right key
Apparently it was looking for a door
Then came the drums
Causing a ruckus
Seems I was the only one
Who took the time to listen
The bass-
With its deep voice
Didn't know wether it was a fish
Or an instrument of greatness
And the guitar-
I looked for the guitar
It was ringing a sad song
I suppose it was looking for me too.

Selling the Guitar
The old strings of this guitar
they argue with my fingers
Perhaps the E string
with its proud tone
has better things to do
Maybe one night
this guitar
chose to become a piano
or speak other languages
Someone put the words
Out of tune
It no longer understands me
Now the songs refuse to be heard
Now things don't sound the same
And this guitar, I'm selling-
Perhaps has something against my fingers.

That thing called reason-
and who stares back in this mirror?
He never greets me in the morning
Where are your wheels taking us today?
and most important
Who made that decision?
Let's not stay home today
they sell so many things out there
unfortunatley they ran out of songs
who fabricated these words?
and my guitar?
