Death is hell my dear
Lets enjoy the pleasure
In our treasure,
As our health we measure.
Lets sit and smile,
As we remember old times
Of our lives.
Death is inevitable my love
As hell is inevitable.
Lets sit at it table and dine
Away our time.
Lets bare our hearts
As we look back in nostalgia,
Remembering old times
As we make up for our past wrongs.
Yesterday is history my love,
Today is our own.
Lets live it all today like tomorrow

Poem for my Grandmother
By the time
I knew grandmother
She was no more
It took sisteen-years
To know
Of her pains
On that sick bed,
My sisteen-year-old
Knowingness was shocked
To hear mum narrate her past
Grandmother as indeed a great
Woman n her life time.
Each time I go to her grave
I break down and cried for her,
I wish grandmother saw
The best of me

I know she would be proud of me

When I said the Church
Will steal your money;
Hypocrites stoop and
Say I'm greedy.
But I entreat thee
Consult thy memory

He has all to His means

Away with America
I have no time for frivolities
My time is for my priorities.
I have no time for church,
Though I love religion
And God of the religion.
I have no time for ganja,
Though I love rasters;
Away with your America!
I shall find it here in Africa!
You can go back to history
And tell mythological Jupiter
To come down to America
With a more charming Pandora,
I shall love more my Africa.

In those days
The good old days
When I had nothing
to think but long
Black beautiful haired girls
Which once or twice
Looked at me and smiled
Of all these beauties, the one
