Boards, shorts, t shirts
All within reach,
Buy them at
Barefoot on the Beach.
There was a coach driver called Ken,
Took us to Newquay and back hyem,
We all rocked with laughter
At his Geordie banter,
That witty coach driver called Ken.
Severe Weather Forecast
The weather today
Is severe, so they say,
So when you go out,
Do not cast a clout.
It will not be good,
There's risk of a flood,
The cloud's very low,
Need brolly to go.
Heed warning, feel dread,
Storm clouds on my head.
Traumatised, terrified, hiding from view,
Shrinking back, expecting attack, poor you.
Treated with kindness, patience and respect,
Now look at you.
Out in the open, stretching out, relaxed,
Watching the birds and television too,
Nudging for food and a lie on my lap,
It's a rehomed cat's world, no looking back.
