Maple Syrup
The seepage of syrup, from boughs of Maple trees
Sweet treacle sapped, from beneath the arctic snow cover
Reservoirs of a timeless sweetness
Perpetuating to taste buds of cynical humans
Yet, beneath the cynicism and gloom
Of lips rendered bitter by the atrocities of human deed
Beneath this snow-cover of misdeed draping the bed of civilization
There is a soulful man searching for redemption
Atonement for the wayward soul
For the prodigious has metamorphosed to the prodigal
To embrace the mortality of falling, man's eternal waltz with sin
Yet, a copious wealth of sweetness exist
Deep in the erect boughs of man, the heart oozing with syrup
To be tapped like maple exude, to be tasted for deliverance
The soul, a time keeper for absolution
To embrace the emancipation of charitable deed
To soar to the heavens with the wings of your conscience
To levitate in the lightness of an atoned heart
To reap the sweetness of human endeavor

Queen Lear
Carried in her a rapturous hearth
Wrapped in placental cotton, a miraculous birth
Golden sands of autumn mirth
Yet the tides walloped, Queen Midas's firth
Words wrapped in quaint verse
Failed to part her newborn's lips, echoes terse
A cradle buried in soot, a harrowing hearse
Her bundle in an eternal slumber amidst god's murmurs
Sarcophagus molded in marble and stone
As the weeping lacrimals in madness atone
For mistakes burgundy's path had frantically blown
A night's magic, now a snowy winter to endlessly mourn
As the lullabies unfolded in the passing breeze
Draped was a bundle in virgin white, thrown to the seas
As her autumn's leaves fell to nature's lofty fees
The beauty levitated to a heavenly lullaby's tease

POW from Sheba's Dressing
Reminders of her ransack,
His collage of memories;
Like podcasts playing in his psyche;
Her flowing locks,
Pitch black with quaint curves,
Hugging the upper margin of her luscious hipbones;
Waltzing in the serenading breeze;
Her smile, like the advent of spring;
Amidst a Celtic winter-coated dawn;
Petite Dentile stubs that shimmer;
Like a string of white topazes;
Awakening spring time;
Her body, a luscious carpet;
In a Celtic glow, that ushers in, a scent of perfection;
Celtic clay immaculately molded by God's palms;
To conceive my goddess, Eve;
With a skip in her step, a gazelle's gait;
As I slurp the remnants of the droplets of liquid food;
That scatter inside the squalid margins of my plastic plate;
As I rest in my collage of memories;

Sweet Tooth
A corolla gleaming, on a heaven bound stem
Each petal, woven from celestial twine
The intricate tapestry of a time-tested beauty
Embodiment of the grandeur of creation
Loved by the masses, man and insect alike
As life forms fall to the timeless allure of her epic beauty
Buzzing dwarfs and ogling giants
Caught in the trappings of her charm and fragrance
As bees swarm spell bound to the oozing syrup
Dancing to the waltzing flow of a vivacious Aeolus
Even man, a collector, of bouquets of flowers
Waltzing to the cadences of the Blue Danube
As a flower embodies the cornerstone of a blissful sweetness
To unveil a neglected truth, the kinship of man and bug
Both opportune feeders of an earthly sweetness
One in the vastness of the opulence of love
Other in the generosity of overflowing nectar
As true sweetness softens the hold of man and creature
Within vacant spaces of void hearts and unfilled honeycombs
To grace on man and beast, a sweet tooth for life

Houdini of Melancholy
Revolutions and renaissances
Of the melancholic heart
As it plucks the strings of rejuvenation
From a winter's hibernation
Where the soul ceased to exist
Maceration of the heart to abyssal depths
Yet amidst the furor of the tempest
A renegade primordial flame flickered
A bonfire of residual hope, awaiting a gentle thrust from kismet's palms
To throw open, the corridors of a humble prosperity
A nimble phoenix rising from the ashes of subjugation
For the germination of dormant dreams
To cultivate mirth, in the bleakest of land
To lavish upon the heart, a titanic endowment
The buoyancy of a feather, the vivacity of a fleeting rhapsody
The strength of a bison yet the culture of a fidalgo
The courage of a crusader yet the humility of a slave
The suppleness of the wind streaming past crowded valleys
The honesty of the full moon with her bare-naked craters
Armed with blades of love and a shield of honor

Emancipation of the Sovereign Heart
Mirages enumerate the vulnerable mind
Caged by the trappings of mortality
As one seeks the opulence of the heart
The shrouded mystery of an unconditional love
As knights in shining armor stroll in
With a clamor in step and a jingle of the heart
With blades of amor and shields of honor
Yet victim to corrosion in the hallways of time
Rusting to the moisture of the straying heart
To tides of lust that knock on your shores
As the sand castles of the heart fade like wilting flowers
To leave behind the legacy of hurt's procreation
The true labor of love, in your quest for an oasis of the heart
As the bountiful evergreen metamorphoses to a green mile
A caged abyss, as the fickle heart longs for liberation
To re-embrace your birth rite, to the open arms of solitude
To prosper in the great wide open, providence's masterpiece
Like the regal sun or the divine moon
Like an indomitable elephant or a hunting lioness
To flourish in the emancipation of a sovereign heart

Rite to Spring
Spring awakes,
A free descent,
From unforeseen heights,
As virgin sunbeams,
Carve their path,
To the yawning sprouts;
Even the scrambling fauna;
Guarding the heavenly bed,
Of a crowded thicket;
As souls levitate, from an icy hibernation;
As the senses germinate,
To the resonating melodies,
Of cardinals and mockingbirds,
Stamping their rite to spring.
Amidst this extravaganza of color,
In the serenity of the luscious thicket;
A quilt cover stumps long blades of meadow grass;
As two burgeoning souls playfully merge,
In to a fusion masterpiece, a caramel mural,
Showcasing their birth glory;

A Plea For Life
Deeply rooted to the soil of her temple
Irrigated by a symbiotic aqueduct
And chutes of fertilizer sculpted by fatum
As two destinies converged in the name of love's enslavement
A uterine cradle, swelling in the grotto of her womb
Her shrine, the compass to my father's seed
As they swam mercilessly in their journey from autonomy
To the shackles of a symbiotic slavery
As murmurs of her filth gush to my listening lobes
Encroachment of a diabolical darkness, draped in the chills of apathy
As her lips sow the seeds of her emancipation
Caustic words brushing my sordid self, an ingrained abscess of pus
Spawned to fortune's grievous decree of miscreation
To be dispossessed to never to set eyes on the rising sun
As I make a valiant plea, a jingle of my crooked torso
In undiluted tides of an apical love, in my final crusade
To metamorphose her sodden apathy to a streak of tenderness
To sap one droplet of her residual entropic love
To suckle one serendipitous day………Her miraculous blood

Gentleman Marry Brunettes (Ode to Jane Russell)
A mauve sundress..........
Cavorting in the wind,
With a lavender waist band;
Holding her in place;
As the hemlines waltz to the heavens.
Foolhardily falling,
For the pouts of Aeolus.
Foot thongs............
That slip through the toes,
Like the gallant wind,
Softly blowing through the cracks,
Of a jagged ravine;
Whistling past the rock walls,
In her leeward path.
An Alice band............
Erect over her silky-cream front;
Rocking back her ginger brown tresses,
As they cascade towards the clavicles,

African Elephant
A rock fortress
In gaze's path of sight
The tenacious titan of the animal kingdom
Drifting through corridors of space and time
Seeping the grace of a celestial angel
The innate serenity of a Dominican friar
The noble poise of a Lusitanian fidalgo
The effervescent spirit of a Kikuyu warrior
An august creature idyllically plodding on the endless savannahs
With an indomitable dominance
Bestowed by the herculean muscle of her dental boughs
As giant elastic flaps flutter in a karmic cadence
To be one with the svelte curves of a buxom Aeolus
As he unleashes his trumpeting voice, a reverberating call
An offering of peace, a plea for compassion
To the callous ears of man, entwined
To the misery of deed's warped exploitation
As humanity gazes through the eye of a needle
Through narrow straits of indifference, in the hollowness of a heartless gun barrel
As a mighty boom silences the call of the wild
