I melt into my memories
Like chocolate
On a hot summers day
Melting into every crevis
Of my mind
Trying to find the right way
To make this pain
Go away
I thought the worst was over
That you loved me too
But love doesn't do
The things that you do
You took my trust
And rolled it up
Threw it in the trash
Now I live on memories
Because memories

Lord what can I do for you?
You've done so much for me
These great gifts of words
For all the world to see

For you died on tree for me

Lord soften my heart
So I may see
That without him

There is one thing I've come to know
You can visit the past
But you can't bring it home
For time makes changes to everything
What was once shinny is now dull
Strong feellings become after thoughts
Love becomes caring
Hope for something better
Now turns to complacency

If I can not offer you
My hand in friendship
What need do I have for hands
If you call out to me for help

What good are my ears

Oh how powerful you can be
Strenghth beyond compare
Reaching deep inside one's soul
Pulling one out of the abyss so deep
Even the sun of midday can not penetrate

I'm going through the motions
Playing your silly game

Silent Thoughts
Sometimes slience can be louder
Then the roar of the sea,
The shot of a gun or
The cheers of a crowd
For it opens the mind to thoughts of wonder
Did I say something wrong

It can cut deep into the soul
Like no knife ever made
