On my way to heaven
I will stop and turn around
To give a wave to all my family and friends
Who I left behind
It wasn't easy leaving you
But the Lord has called me home
Just remember I love you all
For I know you loved me too
If you should ever need me
Just look within your hearts
For that's where I'll be from now on

Oh Lord
I hear your voice in the call of a dove
Your smile in every new born I see
They say the hope for tomorrow is in you
But I know my part lies in me
To do my best to help those in need
Heal the hurting you see
By bringing your word to those who can't read
And those who just can't see
Guideing the lost back to your light

I've given to the Lord
Is nothing compared
What He's given to me
To touch the world
One person at a time
Remembering their names

To Know Love
Oh to feel the love's embrace
The joy and happiness seen upon one's face
To know that the love is really true
Is a gift from God
I wish I knew
For people can be so cruel and nasty
Using someone's heart
To get what they fancy
Then letting them down
Never caring what they have done

Oh That Tree
Maybe if you would have seen
Our initals carved in the tree,
You might have fallen in love with me
When we were so very young
For I wanted the world to know
How I felt about you
Now after thirty years,
i went back to that tree
To see if I could still see
If those words could be seen.
Looking there to my surpise,
Two words carved right next to mine

The love I had for you
Has never gone cold
Even though we have grown old
Time has taken you away
To a different life and a part in the play
Someday we may meet somewhere

November Skies
Oh how I hate these cold and dark November skies
The gloom outside starts to creep inside
Killing off all the joy I once knew
Wondering whats keeping me alive
