A beautiful morning? (c) 4-23-2010

Oh what a beautiful grey sky
What I thought was a beautiful day
I freakin thought I could frolic through flowers
But I guess that went away

Love unconditional (c) 7-17-2010

Why does the sun look to the Earth and wish to grant it warmth?
What does the sun find attractive about the Earth?
Though the Earth is gratuitous in self-esteem and self-improvement
The sun still finds an attraction to the Earth.
Could it be the sun is truly enamored with the moon?
But its likeliness is dim as it blackens the sky upon their joining.
So what is it? Could it be the people?
How could the sun even notice?
They’re so tiny, so small, the grander things in the universe
Has no time for the petty, haughty and insensitive acts of man.
So what could it be? What motivates the sun to illuminate the Earth’s sky?
Could it be,
That the Sun just loves the Earth,
For who he is?

A random poem about my day in the life of my mind 1.2 (c) 3-19-09

Don't really know what to say but speak from my mind
Well I'm fine and I guess you can call me one of a kind
Been tricked by a Slick Rick...I'm feeling sick
But I pick the tick to travel out and stab him in the palm like a prick
I'm stick thick and I'm quick and I'm clever
Whatever the weather never decides whether I get better forever
Lured by Old Nicks, card trick, apparent nonstick, magic trick, however
I've been played by the beauteous girls in my school
Played stupid riddles and hand games and this is the rule
First...open the gate tell who it is you hate
but that's your date now escape gotta get to a safe place
Find a fish and borrow the cod's cape
Travel to cape cod which is odd and a little misplaced
Find a landin' spot that's great no longer chafe
but turn around...you been bein' chased by an ape
To be continued...

Land of the Free (c) 3-29-08

Land of the Free home of the brave
Land of disease home of the slave
Freedom of religion Freedom of speech
Freedom of press and freedom to breach
Freedom to steal freedom to take
Freedom to carry guns and Freedom to break
The laws of the man and the laws of the word
Freedom from peace but to still use the bird
The only home of brave and Land of the Free
The land who rules based off democracy
Freedom to starve and Freedom to be poor
Freedom to break and enter someone’s door
Freedom to lay off workers and close off jobs
Freedom to take what they want and to rob
Freedom of abortion Freedom of extortion
Freedom to own land and give everyone their portion
Freedom for action by any means necessary
But what their picture of that can really be scary
Freedom to wage war without our consent for our hours to be spent
Freedom to take our money then make us pay rent

Crow (c) 10-14-2010 (Inspired by 'Raven' by Edgar Allan Poe)

Black wings,
The color of the fallen,
Lacks the beauty of his cousins
But makes up in Darkness
Reputation carries the weight of the recent deceased
Through it's presence, the watchful eye assumes death
An eerie screech protrudes from it's throat
Trying to relay the events that took place
However the Evil retrains their voice and chokes the Crow
Many are unaware of the Crow's ability to speak
Legend has it, before organized civil units
The Crow would announce the cause of death,
Whether naturally, unnaturally, or even supernaturally
The commitment of murder would come to light from it
It was until the day, one of the holiest of men was killed by Evil
And once the Crow was going to tell, the Evil cursed the Crow
Darkening it's feathers and catching it's throat whenever it tries to speak
Only few on the Earth knows of the history of the bird
And the people that know, regret containing the information
Because every move I make I'm followed by Crows

Extra Ordinary pt.2 Extraordinarily Jaded (c) 1-6-10

I know my heart’s a little jaded
Because of the fact that he procreated me
All my life my daddy wouldn’t play with me
But was quick to find where I was when somebody had bad things to say to me
Even though my own person I’ve soon to have mastered
Even though truly I can say I was raised as a bastard
My step pops was there but mostly made my mother cry
Leavin late at night makin her think he was left to die
It’s difficult to live knowin that the one who bore you doesn’t care
If you’re in jail or in trouble or even alive and to me it wasn’t fair
When people would have father/son activities and I was always alone
There’s no way you can beg forgiveness of 16 years can never be atoned
With anything you try or any last ditch effort you make
That’s like askin the hands of a mouse and a leopard to shake
Just a snowball fight that’s all that what have probably sufficed
But what I’m guessin you didn’t have enough time to sacrifice for me
You see you’ll miss my graduation and the day I’m baptized you see
But all that could’ve changed only if you would’ve realized its me
I remember a while back when Grandma told me well to hell with you
And now she’s not here and I felt I could’ve saved her, now I feel it too

Above the Chasm (c) 10-14-09

Dark days when you lose a member of your family
United we should stand but we keep perishin from self
It’s a sickening crime of murder and I don’t wish it on anyone
But why is it that we can’t murder somebody else

Instead of destroying what God took “6 days” to create
Sadly I can’t walk the streets without fear of bein killed
Are we not worth the battle instead we perish in hate
Forget the world truly it’s our nation that should be healed

Fear of these streets, it left many dead in cold blood
And niggaz can’t find a better way to release aggression
How is it that when you map out the murder of another
The bullet never seems to get the directions

R.I.P. to those that received a letter from a bullet
The Earth awaits your presence once more
I can’t pinpoint the point of killin my black family
Or why in the world niggaz totin guns for
