Societies Children

At another whom is to gain
Suffer at the hand
All that you obtain
Slipping through like sand

Praise thoughts who is to falter
That struggle to be coherent
Raping families, blaming not the adulterer
Sticking to the most adherent

Flexing against the chains
Oh how I have missed this 'security'
The rust and familiar capitalist reign
Leaving an unwanted dependency

Such a morbid ideology we own
Where we bow before our self
And throw the first stone
While rights are on the back shelf

Fatherless

The vice upon my lip
Sin above all else
Carry away at the hip
A child, a burden of shame

Signify you know
Clarify thus far
How my timid features show
I am not at fault

Beckon to the wards
Claim this pungent victory
That reeks with bloody swords
And the eyes full of misery

Flaunt your weak intelligence
As I bare my sin
Born the eyes of beauties sense
Upon a rocking cradle

Bother

I feel like I am a bother
Needing someone to care
I feel like I should go on no longer
Just to make this fair
But it seems I've run out of rope
And lost the stomach for pills
It seems I have no hope
To get over these hills
More like mountains I would say
Crawling like an animal on its chest
No peace for the wicked in what they lay
Wallowing in mud not a bit of rest
A dark sky to look up in
Trees grabbing your eyes
What a bother I say again
Into the shadows I die
Shamelessly, you mock
As the sun reaches its crescendo
My head, the hateful words they knock
No hope has yet to show

Mental Guns

You put a gun to my head
Made me do things I wish I've never said
You let the politicians bullet its course
Letting my insanity be the force
Pushing down my skull
Having my body roll
Twisting with agonizing pain
The loss of face and name
Conforming to the thoughts of 'us'
'We the people' do not fuss
While I am in an uproar
Ready to settle the score
Take my place in 'our' nation
Where we all face annihilation
Going against the ever so perfect law
Like rubbing salt in wounds still raw
You put a gun to our head
Making you wish we were dead
Wanting us to think a certain way
Propaganda doesn't exist you say

Painted Dolls

Morally and ethically vacant
The puritan forgot to be decent
Banished from this humble abode
Alone on his faithless road
Changed over night I see
Because you weren't there for me
I fell into the grim reapers claws
While you had your painted dolls
I see I wasn't enough for you
Paying for filth, I feel what might be true
Guilt begot guilt
Upon my sewing quilt
A tapestry to hang on the wall
Where our love did seem to fall
Painted a story of the loveless eye
Where the innocent chose to die
You could have been there for me
Made me love again in this toiling sea
Yet you were gone with painted dolls
Setting my heart to raging falls

The Broken Hand of a Writer

Creation had corrupted the masters hand
Floated upon a broken dream
Written down with a controversial hope
Sometimes I forget that I have the ability to demand
That this foolishness ceases and is cut at the seams
To let the thread of idiocy fall to less than a rope

Sometimes I remember that I have no right
For I have masked myself into the flames of anger
Where fear cowers in the recesses of my mind
Happiness is no where in sight
Dangling at the edge of despair in constant danger
A map, if given, never would there be someone to find

Dreams, dreams, dreams...

Once, ever so long ago, I had the clouds within reach
And even more long ago I had a smile upon this weary face
The beating my heart did thump for a reason
Now the soul sucking words do leech
