Swimming
River of thoughts
The nightmares I fought
The eyes they have caught
You...
Only you...

Dream of Love
I've slept a long time
Eyes still rimmed
Black and blue
Just for you
I've slept a long time
My thoughts are dimmed
Silver and red
The moon is still dead
Dream of Love
To escape hear break
Where lands are so real
Pain, you can't even feel
Dream of Love
away from this ugly mistake
Grow into something new
All because of you

Push
I feel the physical strain,
A tense brow where you hide your pain,
Misguided eyes won't accept,
A heart so heavy in this deep debt,
You've paid your dues,
Still I won't make you choose,
Between me and your lonely mind,
I rather be left blissfully blind,
For I don't care to see,
All the ugly things of me,
So push, push me over the edge,
Driving in between us a painful wedge.

Pills
Deadly little things
into the mouth if flings
A potent cure that kills
Breaking the latter of wills
One after another we take
With their greedy hands they rake
Too many to be remotely good
If only we understood
That this high can only last so long
Differing between right and wrong
They have no clue what they do
Taking advantage, can't believe it's true
Offering more and more
Until we can't even store
Away all the deadly little pills
The ones they gave, the ones that killed

Flames
A burnt child loves the flame
Scarred with ugliness, such a shame
But within the fire stayed
Where the little hands lingered and played
The eye shift with the swift moves
Feeling the marred skin and its grooves
An anger that rises within
A hidden secret, a perfect sin
The mother did warn so vigorously
Keeping up the hate perpetually
The child doesn't listen nor care
Knowing fate and that it's so unfair
Burning, flourishing in waking heat
Whom fall to cold eyes in feverish defeat

Beauty of Fear
Hands dance along the wall,
Guiding oneself in the dark of night,
A whisper spoken causing to stall,
While she fought back the fright,
But a candle was left in her wake,
Leaving a small glowing friend,
As the cold made her body quake,
The light could no longer defend,
With a gasp and the click of a shoe,
The candle fell to the wooden floor,
Not knowing what she already knew,
She ran for the nearest door!
Steps calmly followed her in,
Only moonlight to cuddle her near,
Oh such a sweet, sweet grin,
What a true beauty of fear.

Adventures
Suffering was acquitted
For the smiles of tomorrow
Blinked out of existence
Running from our sorrow
Behind the truth the lies did hide
Banished like a child
For no one they have cried
Feeling so defiled
Going through the day
Giving into false pride
I can take on two boys!
Just with my bare hands
I can stand for myself
And conquer all the lands
An orphan I may be
but I will grow up strong
Where the lies that they feed
Won't burden us too long
Gather all around me
To listen to my tale

Wake Up
Insides are twisting
With the thoughts of you
Bad dreams blistering
Begging so they aren't true
Fading shadows of the night
Wrapped in heated pain
The blankets you have to fight
The moment where you aren't sane
In a state of chaotic terror
Your eyes flutter open and close
To see this sudden error
Me, through lashes, in a relaxed pose
Never did I leave your side
Against your heart huddled near
Into my breast you hide
Holding me tighter out of fear

Careful
Careful!
The eyes are watching thee
Shifting in the shadows
Where the claws reach
Greedy and needing
Wanting such a sweet face
Careful!
My voice has no purchase
It doesn't resonate in the air
Dying among the trees
Wounded the echo resounds
But a whisper in thine ear
Careful!
Oh wanderer why haven't you fled
Running from the shadows
That we all did dread
Oh sweet wanderer why! ?
Do you leap into the claws
Careful!
No warnings are beseeching

Broken Innocence
My father breaks my bones
My mother breaks my heart
I feel so alone
Completely torn apart
My friends break my will
My sky has seen better days
I've lost all the thrill
And the beauty of my ways
Inside is something mangled
Corroded, terrifying
Tears that always strangle
A constant threat of lying
Words that bare no truth
Giving weary ears a break
Not understanding my youth
The lie they easily take
