The Crazy Old Lady
Mutter mutter
Putter putter
Goes the crazy old lady
I look into the mirror
And quickly see
The crazy old- Is me

There was once a girl with glasses
In her hair she had some molasses
She sat on a pot
And gave her hair some thought
Until she started passing gasses

Yay or Nay- Neigh
'Neigh, '
Goes the horse or a sunny day
'Neigh, '
Goes the horse when the rain sends the sun away
'Neigh, '
Goes the disagreeable horse who couldn't decide
Yay or Nay

I'm Sorry...So Forgive Me
I'm sorry
I'm sorry of all those long lost days that can never be
I'm sorry I ruined the feeling in us
I'm sorry that I hurt you when you gave me all your trust
I'm sorry I made you disreputable
But most of all I'm sorry I cheated
Won't you forgive me
I've paid my time
I've lived my pain
I know we can never be
But won't you at least forgive me

Memorial Day Weekend
Family and friends file in the room as they arrive
Laughter is shared
Tears of joy flow freely from many
I feel the warmth of family love wrap around me
We are silly and fun
But nobody cares
We're having too good a time to care
This is what Memorial Day Weekend is all about
It's about being with family
And not being afraid to actually have fun
It's about being yourself and no one else

Remember the Veterans
Remember the veterans
Who straight and tall
At the ceremonies we hold for them
Remember the veterans
Who are still out their today
Fighting for our freedom
An the freedom of people all over the country
Remember their gallant and noble cause
Remember all they have given up for you
But most importantly
Remember the ones who you can't see
Because they've fallen an in a battle fought for you
Or they are in a nursing home or hospital with no family they can see
Remember them because they are so often forgotten

The Selfish Dog
A dog trots merrily on the road
Here is gun fire all around
But the dog doesn't care
There is a bone at the end of the road
The dog can almost taste it in his mouth
People are screaming
A little girl begs for the dog
But he doesn't care
It's only one little girl right?
Finally, the dog reaches the end of the road
There is more chaos than before
But the dog only sees the desolate ground
There is no bone
It was an illusion
The dogs wants to go back
back to the safe arms of the little girl
but he can't...it wouldn't be the same...he abandoned her

Motionless
Work
Work
That's what I need to do
Work
Work
I feel so lazy
Working machine
Working machine
That's what I need to be
I need to make my grades go sky high
Make the entire house gleam
Make the best meal ever
Work
Work
Why don't I start
I should just work
All the time
Push everything else away
Instead I sit here

Gifts of Spring
Spring Seems to come over night,
Bringing beauty with all its might.
The sun shines down all around.
It makes spring colors come to life.
Without the sun...spring would be no fun.
You can hear the tulips humming in your ear,
As they kick their growing into second gear.
You can feel the water drizzling down from the deep blue sky,
As you watch the robins fly oh so high.
Fireflies buzz on by,
As they light up the midnight sky
The wind fills the air with murmurs,
That sound like little drummers.
All of these together mean spring
