The snow
The snow lay like a blanket upon the ground
The trees & bushes it does surround
In spots its dirty in spots its clean
Why does the dirt have to mess up the scene
To make snow angels upon the ground
Where the glistening snow does abound
To make angels in the snow
For you can do that wherever you go
To be a child again and play in the drift
Should be my lifes greatest wish
To know then What I know now
Would be wonderful that I do avow

Life's Little Problems
Sometimes life’s little problems can steer you so wrong
They make you do things that you know are wrong
Take each day as it comes to you
Live life to the fullest in all you do
Fill each day with a love so strong
Say Father, help me to do no wrong
Say Father help me from up above
To fill my heart with the greatest love
Say, help me in all I say or do
So you can be the greatest you
With our Father’s help you can be strong
And from now on you’ll do no wrong

Flirts
Why is it that men like to flirt?
They’ll chase anything in a skirt
When they see a pretty face
It’s like they’re all in a race
They want to see who’ll end up first
Like they’re all dying of thirst
Women are like their glass of water
Instead of someone’s daughter
Men who just want to flirt
To me are just like dirt
Friendships are so much more fun
With many friends you will have won
Won a prize much better than gold
And your soul will not be sold
Sold for a moment of just fun

Family First
Friends may come and friends may go
Family is first and this I know
Putting friends first is a mistake
And not one that you should make
Family’s forever and this I know
Friends enter your life and then they go
Making friends is fun trust me with this
But not something you would miss
Love your family while they are here
Keep their love very near
Family can leave the world at any time
So don’t make yourself feel like slime
Family is here to comfort you
I know your friends do this too
Without your family you would be lost
Hold on to them no matter the cost
