Sad

There's a sudden sadness in the air.
I can feel it everywhere.
It is all around,
Weighing me down.
it just won't go away.
I don't know what kind of sick game it is trying to play.
I want no part of it,
But it won't let me quit.
It keeps holding on
When all I want is for it to be gone.
I want to ba happy again,
To laugh and have fun with my friends.
I want my laugh to be real.
I want to laugh because that's what I feel.
I'm done with feeling this bad.
I am so sick of being sad.

Tear Drops

This feeling is familiar,
Something so well I remember.
The sudden heaviness,
Along with a dizziness.
I feel it starting,
Here goes nothing.
In my stomach I feel a pit.
I get so frustrated I could spit.
The stinging behind my eyes
Makes me realize
What is happening:
They are coming.
Everything goes blurry,
Making the hardest things look soft and furry.
I feel their presence on my cheeks.
If I look in the mirror I will see their streaks.
There is no way to make them stop,
These tiny tears drops.

A true friend
A true friend is the one who picks you up when you fall
A true friend is one that won't lie
A true friend is there when you call
A true friend is there when you want to die
A true friend knows just what to say
A true friend won't care what other people think
A true friend will help you find your way
A true friend will make sure you don't sink
A true friend will help you choose your path
A true friend will know when something is wrong
A true friend has to sometimes face your wrath
A true friend makes you feel like you belong

You are everything I need,
Just what I wished for.
In my heart you have implanted a seed.
I couldn't ask for anything more.
You are the one I choose,
All I want is you.
This is one bet I am certain I cannot lose.
You have more than proven my first impressions true.
You are my warmth in the coldest weather.
You wrap me up in your arms,
Picking me up as if I'm the lightest little feather.
Being with you allows me to feel no alarm.
You are one half of this perfect pair.
We fit together perfectly.
The bond we have cannot tear,
It's like you were made for me.
You are my dove.
I will never find another
Who shares this exact love

Don't

Don't even start.
I don't want to hear it.
How can you still tell me I own your heart?
I refuse to listen to this stupid shit.
Who do you think you are?
We both know you don't love me.
You left behind an invisible scar.
Did you honestly expect me to wait for you patiently?
I'm so sick of all of your lies.
That's all I hear coming out of your mouth.
But I've finally opened my eyes
And realized you never once spoke the truth.
I no longer think it was my fault.
You were the one that did wrong.
You brought our relationship to a hault.
Even when I stuck it out for so long.
Stop trying to make me feel guilty.
Even if I wanted to I couldn't.
Because I know you're not sorry.
So do me a favor and just don't.

These Walls

These walls
They are the plainest of color.
It is as though they are made to make one suffer.
Surrounded by them, ever so bleak
Makes my energy drain, leaving me weak.
These walls
How can they be so bare?
It's almost as if no one cares.
They almost never bring me cheer.
Instead they instill a little fear.
These walls
Never seem to move
For they have nothing to prove.
They just stand their gorund,
Knowing, always, where to be found.
These walls
My patience is beginning to run thin.
I feel completely trapped within.
I want to curl up into a ball and hide
But I know that would be a hit to my pride.

Do You Ever...?

Do you ever think about the past?
Do you ever wish it didn't go by so fast?
Do you ever smile at the good times?
Do you ever laugh at all the silly rhymes?
Do you ever remember laughing so hard you thought you would pee?
Do you ever think about all the stories that start with, 'Remember when we...? '
Dou you ever think to yourself, 'We shouldn't have gotten away with that.'?
Do you ever remember how we were looked at?
Do you ever wonder why our parents always asked, 'What are you girls doing? '
Do you ever laugh remembering how we always replied with a laugh and a simple, 'Nothing.'?
Do you ever remember running around?

Alone

Sometimes I just sit in the dark,
By myself in my room.
Staring at those pictures from the park,
So full of gloom.
It helps me think,
Whether that's good or bad,
Looking around at all the pink
Sometimes happy and other times sad.
I don't want to talk.
I want to be in a place I consider mine.
I don't want to walk.
If you ask me what's wrong I'll answer, 'I'm fine.'
I wish everyone wouldn't worry,
There's nothing wrong.
Sometimes things get blurry
When I listen to those old songs.
If I want to sit there
Then let me be.
I don't always need you in my hair.
I don't let many see the real me.
