Darkness
Everything is black.
It is the light you seem to lack.
You feel completely at peace,
Like all your problems have ceased.
You aren't having to make any choices,
Or hear all those annoying voices.
You're just able to rest.
This feeling is the best.
You suddenly hear a noise,
It sounds like a creature with no poise.
It sounds like a loud crash,
As if someone is making a dash.
The footsteps seem to be getting closer,
While the person tries to become sneakier.
You open your eyes
And to your surprise
There is a stranger staring at you.
You try to think what to do,
But before you can

In His Eyes
In his eyes
I am beautiful
I can do no wrong
I am wonderful
Even though it has not been very long
In his eyes
I can see how much he cares
Words he does not have to say
I can just tell by the way he stares
My heart leaps when he calls me Ashley Mae
In his eyes
With a gaze so intense it makes me melt
Looking into those beautiful blue eyes makes me weak
It makes me forget all of the problems with which I have dealt
Which is why sometimes I can only take a peak
In his eyes
I am amazing
I am the girl he will never hurt
To make me happy he will do anything
Now the only question is: can I get him away from Kurt? ; -)

When I look at you
I know what you say is true.
When I hear your voice
I know I made the right choice.
When I smell your smell
I remember how hard I fell.
When I feel your touch
I know why I love you so much.
When I feel your arms around me
I melt into you softly.

I know everything will be just fine.
When I feel your kiss
I know exactly what I will miss.

It makes you think
What if one day you weren't found?
If you just didn't wake
If all they could see of you was under a mound
If your soul was God's to take
It makes you think
What if you lost everything you had ever known?
If it all just went away
If suddenly you were all alone
It will happen to you someday
It makes you think
What if you left your family and friends?
If you had no time to say goodbye
If you were not able to make amends
Or apologize for any lies
It makes you think
What if you left everyone you love?
If you went to some place you didn't know
Whether that place was up above

Sometimes
Sometimes I just sit and stare,
Wishing you could be there
To hold me tight
And tell me everything will be alright.
Sometimes all I do
Is lay there and think about you,
Remembering when you looked into my eyes
And begged me not to cry.
Sometimes I think about the way my hand fits in yours
And all the times you've opened and closed my doors,
Thinking you are the perfect gentleman
Doing for me whatever you can.
Sometimes I just miss you so,
Those words I do not speak much I know,
But you understand it's hard for me
To open up and let you see.
Sometimes I think of how you make me smile,
Even if it's only for a little while.

Gone
As I lay here
I feel you laying behind.
I know you just want to be near,
To relax and rest your mind.
I feel your arms wrapped around me,
So strong, but yet still gentle,
Pulling me closer to your body
Being ever so careful.
Hearing you smell my hair
And feeling your breath on my neck
Right before you kiss me there.
You don't even bother to check
Because you know there is a smile spreading across my lips.
I hear you laugh a little in my ear
As your hand slides down to my hip
And your giggling is all I can hear.
You run your fingers through my hair
While you kiss the back of my head.

Please Don't Leave
I hate thinking about it.
I wish there was something I could hit.
Sometimes I get so mad,
Other times I just get so incredibly sad.
I know this is your choice
And although my opinion I have voiced
I will always support you
With everything you want to do.
Simply put: it just sucks.
I wonder if it's just my luck.
Things are going so good
But will everything continue to go as it should?
You are the thing I love the most
But will the memories just start to linger like a ghost?
We have gone through so much
And in my times of of need you act like my crutch.
What will I do without you here?
Sit and stare at the wall in fear?
I need to know you are safe
And that they won't push you until you've had enough.
