A Pill For Every Ill

He gullibly ate the fake food
Thinking that its quality was good.

Labeled with a bogus hologram
Food’s packing too was sham.

Taking that food he took ill
And was unable to move at will.

Then he was prescribed fake drug
By the doctor who was a thug.

In spite of that he was healed,
Coz his faith in food, doctor and pill

Megalomania

Bird perched, Branch fell
Bird thought, “I did”.
Hen cackled, Sun Rose
Hen thought, “I did”.
Frog croaked, Cloud rained
Frog thought, “I did”
Firefly flashed, Bushfire razed
Firefly thought, “I did”.
Fish peed, river flooded
Fish thought, “I did”
Lion roared, MGM movies began
Lion thought, 'I did'
She attempted, Success followed
She thought, “I did”.

WHAT DID YOU DO?
AND WHAT HAPPENED?

The Politician

Politician pouncing
with a mike on podium
Born on a dark dense night
Held in a jail
for murder and extortion
Planning to increase
earth’s plight.

‘End of world
misery is nigh’
Said the man
sans more
To raise
the world high
he was born,
he swore

There will be
no hunger and poverty
and forever

Words

Words,
mere words,
Mind’s birds.
Alpha to omega,
conglomeration of syllables,
Meeting of vowels,
Flirting of consonants.
It’s permutations
and combinations
begets
Couplets, stanzas
poetry’s extravaganza
Or maybe haikus
tankas, senyrus
allegories, lyrics
epigrams, limericks
sonnets, elegy
epics and cacophony.

Words have so much-

My Heart Doesn’t Have A Clue

How high is the azure sky
How deep is the ocean blue
How dark is the silent night
So often do I think of you
Zillion times, I don’t have clue
How many roses sprinkled with dew
So many stars in my eyes to woo.

Another, I know, you wont find
No matter what I do,
Another, I know, you wont love
No matter how far I would go
I would cry to fill the sea,
If ever I lost you
How high is the azure sky
How deep is the ocean blue.

I have no answers now
But this much I can say
You gave a meaning

And You Will Shed Tears Of Joy

My love so intense
like fragrant musk’s incense
Would
permeate you
hypnotize you
anesthetize you
And you will shed tears of Joy.

My love so hot
like blazing sunspots
Would torment you
torture you
tantalize you
And you will shed tears of Joy.

My love so calm,
like soothing divine balm
Would comfort you
caress you
heal you
