I'm His Rose
I was a rose in a garden of many thorns,
Until the day that love was born.
His hand touched my heart, giving me hope,
He picked me up, untying the thorn rope.
I'm his rose whether he knows or not,
I'm his rose because he protects me,
I'm his rose because he set me free.
I'm his rose because he never opened his hand,
I'm his rose because he's the right man.

The Pain in a Woman
Where is the pain, the pain in a woman?
Is it in her eyes, in the way that she looks?
Is it in her face, the way that she frowns?
Is the pain in her hands, the way that they tremble?
Is the pain in her voice as it quivers?
Is the pain in her writing in letters of pain?
Or is the pain in her heart that’s eating her away?
You need to know her in order to know where to look,
In the difference of the action that she took.

River of Love
I've been to many places throughout the world,
As a teen and as a small girl,
But one place holds me to the end,
That place has always been a questioning friend.
One moment sweet and so golden pure,
other times so evil, leaving me unsure,
But whether I dream or sit awake,
River of love knows my heart did break.
River of love, river of pure,
Why do you leave me so unsure?
River of mortality,
Why do you do this to me?
River of love, river of my youth,
Will you tell me where I went wrong?
because one's heart is not a dead flower,
And I don't want to spend my life crying for hours.

Kind Wishes
We started off as strangers,
At least that's what I thought,
But the friendship that we have now could have never been bought.
you were always there giving great advice,
You were always there to shine the light.
You made me laugh and cheer me up,
I would like to say thank you very much.
I wish you the best in the days to come,
I hope that your life always remains under the sun.
A good person like you deserves the best,
Both honor and respect.
I will miss the good times we had,
But I hope that you will keep in touch,
Because the friendship we have, I cherish very much.
I hope you the best on graduation day,
And I won't throw water balloons at you,
But one thing is true,
When you leave, I will miss you.
