Look down the tunnel.
See there's a light,
Shining there,
For you.

Search the darkness.
For there's always,
A pinpoint
Sparkling there.

Peer into the gloom,

There's a spark

Machine guns rattle.
Words being spat with hate.
No time for each other.
Only vitriol, then damnation.
There's no worry,
When its only children,
With families being destroyed.
Sniper's rifle cracks down

Just trickle of blood
And a worn out shoe.

There's always time for a custard cream,
Taken at any point of the day;
With milk or tea,
There's always time for a custard cream,
Advice taken, or given,
Take a moment,
To share the delights
With coffee, or juice.
There's always time for a custard cream;
