Flags & Tears & Heros

' For every flag, for every tear, for every Soldier loss.
A pride for One's Country and Freedom rings in Honor and Glory.
To die for Our Country is the most Distinguished Honor.
To all the fallen Soldiers and their Families,
There is never enough Thanks and Salutes for the Honor You gave to this Country.
Your Life is precious to all and you will be missed and remembered.
Watch over us in your new Mission from above.
The Sun will always remind us for the scarify you gave, to make it shine so bright.
The wind is your soul to touch our lives. TY for All you did My Fellow HEROS! ! ! ! '

A Stormy Night

Clouds filling the skies
beautiful lighting show in the distance
flashing like a disco ball, exciting to all
winds picking up, swirling around
a light sprinkle, a thunderous bang
scattering birds from a bird feeder
the rain comes pouring, birds soaring
windows closing, umbrellas opening
the storm is coming to brew
rolling and going the rain keeps flowing
the road become creeks then to rivers
lighting and thundering to a different beat
rain turns to hail. a ting to a ding
it taps to nature's beat
how long the storm
moving rapidly, quickly its gone
how calm it got before dawn
what a beautiful storm

Seasons

Enjoying the walk, with no talk
the air so crisp, the breeze so light
the sun so bright
the leaves are changing, falling in range
the animals storing for a cold winter night
the coats are hanging, will be changing
the seasons are changing so rapidly
where did the summer go
the fall so beautiful, the sunsets so breathless
the rain so cold, the clouds so gray
changing to snow, and growing
waiting for spring to bring
the green and the dream
of beautiful flowers and the gift of life
to the season change
but we love the changes of all
circle of nature, the beauty it brings
for all to sing, giving me spring

Gloomy Peaceful Day

Looking out the window, what to see?
empty benches, lonely paths
the river flowing very rapid with small white caps
geese floating around, some dipping for food
the gray sky full of clouds, looking like rain
the brisk breeze and the falling leaves
what a day to sit inside to stay warm
put a log on the fire, dancing flames to admire
time to cuddle with a blanket and a book
reading of romance in the summer
maybe a mystery or a murder
to stir the imagination of the mind
a warm letter to a family or a friend
knit or a little snooze to dreamland
a lazy day to relax and rest
a gloomy day turned to a warm peace

Hometown Hero, Paul Ryan

Every town has one, big or small
a role model for all and hero to all
he grew up here from all his life
setting example for us, giving his all
getting help along the way
giving back along the way
Stepping up when it count
without a doubt
some will hate him, some will love him
now he is in the big lights
going to be a big guy in life
heading down the road, to go campaigning for what he thinks is right
first the Senate, now the Vice President
where the road goes who know
one thing I know, he's a hometown hero
win or lose he has hometown folks here
we will take him no matter what
for he is our hometown hero
Good Luck Paul Ryan

Grandma

Grandma wish you were here
the walks and the talks and playing with chalk
make me miss you most
sitting around the table playing cards
watching you dance the cards around
listening to the stories of old
boy, do i remember them well
it's been years since you gone to a better place
I miss you so
trips to the store, we enjoyed
Miller's Store small, but busy
tell me about the candies we will buy
butterscotch was our favorite
Grandma, I miss you so
thanks for sharing your stories
being my friend, giving me time
I will always have you in my dreams
walking to the store, dancing cards
love you so, missing you most
Grandma's gone, but her soul is here

To Hear Your Voice

To hear you voice, brings warmth
the soft tone and the sexy accent
the elegant sound of words together
make the heart pitter patter
your whisper brings goosebumps of love
from a father to hear you talk reminds me
of how your voice cares, like your beauty
to call and hear your voice brings joy of love
picturing you near and by my side
how comfort you voice makes me
to hear you sing is a angel from heaven
the laughter is joy of humor we make
the tears brings crackles to your sound
breaks my heart to it so.
saying I Love You returns your smiles
whisper to me how you feel
I need to hear the voice of love and joy
sweet voice of yours make the world turn

Last Words

Words that stick in our minds
we all wonder what the last ones will be
romantic to a lover final goodbye
a fighter gasping to fight till the end
a loner uttering a change to late
a prisoner express his hatred past
words that touch, some that hurt
but to some we don't hear their words
instead we see the tears and anguish in their eyes
there were some great lives, some bad ones
the ones that are missed are lost souls
flowing in time for us to catch and hear
their last words
it's hard to remember those anguish words
tears and cries hide those words
remember those words bad or good
it's the last time you'll hear their voice
last words to live by, cherish life

A Day In Park

swings, slides and sand
the park so peaceful early in the day
the sun rising, shadows casting across the grass
the breeze flow so soft, quiet and free
the ball diamond so peaceful and empty
soon the sounds of children laughing and parents chatting
the park comes to life with all to enjoy
dogs playing catch, kids flying kites
grills cooking and picnics galore
the fields so full from footballs to baseballs
playing catch, to playing tag
reading on a bench, laying on a blanket for a tan
the park so pictureous and a masterpiece
It's art and spirit so priceless
we never have enough parks for all to see
to be free and play
Parks nature's playground for us to play

Autumn

The early evening sun set
brings blazing colors
red, yellow, many shades of orange
the beautiful painted clouds flowing so gently
the landscape changing so beautifully to the season
the trees changing colors and the leaves falling so gracefully
the cold brisk wind bring chills to the body
the autumn season brings lovely scenes
mother nature painting at her best
to bring the painting to life so splendidly
birds soaring south for the winter season
parents raking leaves, kids jumping in piles
laughter fills the air, what a pair
the beautiful time of the year
autumn the season of change and beauty
mother nature at her best
creating endless landscapes, so breathless
