Lovers Hands
Old with age
Bent and buckled
Now an old sage
Carbuncle on knuckle.
Hands lift high
A Grandchild
Up to the summer sky
Manner calm and mild
Lovers hands
Took me to a high
Caressed my young body
Took me with a sigh
Lovers hands joined
Fingers entwined
Press tightly
Hearts flutter lightly

Elusive as a butterfly
In your voice I hear you sigh
The beat of it's wings
Your voice to me it sings
Elusive as a butterfly
I listern for your cry
A lady like laugh
It comes from your heart
Elusive as a butterfly
It's time for you to fly
This time it's my mornful sigh
And to my eye, a tear to cry.

As My Guitar Gently Weeps
Stood in the corner gathering dust
Steel strings
Pitted with rust
Loose and untuned
Waiting to be held
Arms wrapped around

For passion to make it dance again
To feel fingers press and glide
To make this old instrument young again.
A love song to play
The player to sway
A lover long lost
