I was feeling more than okay
until up to that darn day
Not even a single grey cloud
was blocking my minds way
I kept on thinking all day
and making my own say
of the few things I knew
and the things I didn't say
I felt like a sewer rat in a daze
caught up in this rat race
I couldn’t find any way out of this
even a way to match this pace

Since the beginning of time
there was you, and I
and of course him
(We can not leave him out of this, can we?)
but, he was a nobody
a nonentity in my eyes

He was alone, for starters
Watching the wandering clouds
Embracing the flutter of the breeze
Filling the empty spaces in his mind
People didn't care for him, much
For all he 'wanted' was to be left alone
They passed him on the street everyday
Without even a single glance towards him
For he was a nonentity, forgotten
In the line of sanity, and the torrents

To gain fulfillments, preservations and bliss

Seconds Away
Here's to the times being unfair
to the spontaneous choices that one makes
as for you only live once… not twice
here's to those wise words they said once…
"Do make sure that each and every single moment counts! "
Troubled minds never saw no bright future
only doubled their troubles and lost in a bubble
only those who never wished were granted their wishes
yes, doesn't make sense… But if it did, it'll all be too easy,

Destiny
What if everything you ever wanted
throughout all your lifetime, beckons
and falls right in front of your feet
like stars fall to earth from heavens
Feels like it's, once in a lifetime moment
and you really don't want to let it slip
Your heart tells you to seize the moment
reach out and grab it, secure it
but motionless like a statue of cold stone
your mind makes you stay and hold still
It's a heart over the mind matter, a plus for the soul
so suddenly you just try to grab it and never let it go
But the moment slips out from your grasp
it escapes from your fingertips and flies away
to join the light that's already out there

Counting Backwards
They said I'm bizarre, blunt and ruthless
when I was seeing myself through the mirror
and then the fortune stormed in and spat
and blamed me for what I really am
While the busy bees cheered for the unloved bird
peacocks chanted mantra of the dead and the void
The world i saw was a round wad of chewed gum
fixed around a seed of an orange, decayed slightly
the rivers flowed eternally, elegantly and swiftly
and the sun kept his gaze down on the walkers
While the hyenas went into hysterics and laughed
jackals stepped out of the closets in to the reality
I was fixated and dependent on my sight
made me overlook all my flaws and abilities
and then the life gave me a few lemons

Gifts From The Present
One day, one night and on another light
in a singular life or maybe through a circle of ‘em
danced distant memories, cherished and valued
and beyond the lurking horizons and borders
there waited I, expecting you…
Understood the uneven pattern of life
while waiting for the miracles to happen
seasons passed by and the times changed
a single boat, one with two mindsets
sailed through the seas, all seven of ‘em
Manipulated the real-time, the sanity
Into fantasy and the amazed cried

Shattered Realism
Deceptions are at large.
what you see, hear, smell, feel
is not as it may seem...
forging your beliefs into,
the path of reality...
merging them with,
unseen and unobserved mysteries...
'they' find it easier if you,
obey at once...'they' know that
disobeying is much harder
not at first, but still the same...
Believe this, though it doesn't feel right!
what we search is no more,
what we need is no more,

Just Another Morning
Smiled a few dew drops, sparkling
splashed on the already wet ground
thrown off the thin pine leaves, that
sway to the rhythmic early breeze
I walked alone, bathing in the glamour
of the blurry rays of the winking sun
following the hushed applause of
a buoyant troop of forget-me-nots
I saw you, in a skip of a heartbeat
sitting on a decaying tree root
trying to pretend like you didn't
notice me, like I didn't matter at all
I decided to wait, under the shade
and look at you from there, neither near
nor far, but really close to your heart

Between The Thin Line
He was a bright, happy, smart kid to begin with
who always kept to himself by the dried lake
playing with the rainbows and butterflies
messing with the true colours of the world
So one gloomy Sunday boredom went to see him
to let the kid taste how bitter the reality really is!
but unexpectedly, the boy kicked the boredom in its ribs
and the boredom laughed so hard that its teeth fell off…
The good thing is after that day the boy learned one thing
he learned that boredom is a one ticklish son of a bitch!
so of course he, the boy kept doing what he loved doing
without giving a rats-arse about the rest of the god forsaken,
cruel, rat-trap of a world which he knew was surely out there
He yelled his lungs off at the empty, cloudless skies
jumped as far as the moon and breathed some fresh air,
swam through the seven oceans, walked a thousand miles,
flew over the skyscrapers and winked at the cute girls
