Realm Of The Dream

Dust billows aimlessly on a rolling breeze,
Carrying a scent of aridity,
Smothering the frail shoots of life that never cease,
To contend with Nature obliviously.

The rays of light descending so majestically,
Interminably swallowed by the caress of their sisters,
As the God of creation fades so slowly,
Blanketed by a shadow of cold moonlit visitors.

Under the stern gaze of the heavenly kings brilliance,
The weary souls slumber in the embrace of humility,
Their wandering minds in a state of illusory innocence,
As their spirits soar over lush hills of tranquility.

Shrugging off the shackles of the soon forgotten journey,
Nature yawns its rebellious defiance,
As all arise to meet the mother's call of duty,
The laws of the world resume their stalwart alliance.

No More

I hear the silent death of words yet to be uttered,
Seeping down the abysmal corridor of failed beauty,
Strangled by a constriction in my soul - a moment where none suffered,
Futile, this thought, already gone, faded away into yet another forgotten memory.
Hope swells, joy stuttered,
I laughed again, but as always, somewhat hesitantly,
The vision cast down, a moment drew by, chilly, the solitude, yes, just, lonely,
Something rose, the words enshrouded, barely murmured,
But no more, no more, forever shut off to me.
I grasp, I clasp - I pour over meaningless lines, all cluttered,
So cluttered, so full, yet useless, endlessly,
Ah yes, they stir, they whisper, they breathe life again into me,
Then lost in another drift of wings never to be shuttered,
Cold, lifeless, dead, not again, no more, I had it, it was mine, it always came,
So effortlessly.
But no more, no more,
No more they know me.
Abandoned, betrayed.
The origin of it all, a mystery now, to me.
So I seek still, for that beauty, I call it to it, I beg of it,

This Aimless Song

I rake the air,
For the image now gone,
A faded memory,
An unknown treasure,
An unspoken song.
I cling to the pieces of the deed,
But never will a thought be enough,
To conjure life in what had me freed,
That is now my bane,
My wound, my unwanted greed.
I ask for less,
I got it all,
The empty room,
The frigid hands,
I look down the well once filled,
Brimming with tears of the shaky haze,
Of roses red, of passion bright,
When all around was filled with light,
Far gone days, in a daze,
I wagered.

Dread And Detachment - Triumph

Fear of the indifference,
Hunger for aesthetic sense,
Wisdom in reiterance,
Failure in passions.

Imaginative dysfunction,
Delusional comprehension,
Dreadful perception,
Human inception.

The unseen depth of understanding,
The greater wish of empowering,
Truth in emotional withstanding,
Brutal reality and forbidden loathing.

The soft melody of paradox's prison,
Tyrannical love gives birth to dissension,
Destructive lust gives heed to indecision,
The struggle of identity again arisen.

Sail for the Sun

Forgive me words,
Reject me heart,
The silence has not grieved,
The night still dulls,
The strength of life,
That whispers in dying leaves,
I forgot my soul,
I cast out my dreams,
I am subjected to this whim,
This abject force,
This supreme tyrant,
The heartless lord of sin,
The love is gone,
The beauty dwindles,
My fountain ceases to breathe,
The marvelous thoughts,
The soaring flights,
My sacred realm of dream,
The innocent fantasy,
Was struck by reason,

The Poet Still Cries

In a maze, void of direction,
I grope vainly, aiming for conclusion,
I see much, yet all is delusion,
The walls craze me, absent of solution.

I tirelessly persevere, going ahead,
But the end is not near, I feel dread,
I pray, but He can't hear, I am mislead,
Man is overcome by fear, my hope is dead.

I bear all, I seek redemption,
The martyr will fall, only for resurrection,
He will hear my call, and forgive my rebellion,
I gaze at the hall, embracing the deception.

I hunger, my feet grow weary,
I thirst for more, humanity breathes barely,
I resent Her, and alienate reality,
I despise the Whore, and curse this mediocrity.

Air

I envy in a way, that may just be,
Somewhat ridiculous, in it's banality,
A thing so common, yet so harsh to me,
It is the air, which causes me such jealousy.
Why, you might ask, it is absurd in it's simplicity,
What is it of this thing, that causes anxiety,
What can air have, as such a spiteful property,
To make one as blessed as yourself,
Curse so despairingly?
Do not judge, I pray, as I answer honestly,
I am not yet an old fool, my wits have not left me,
Listen to these words, do not discard them for folly,
And you may find, somewhat metaphorically,
A small piece of wisdom, discarded within irony.
Air is so fine, so fleeting, so free,
It looks down it's nose, blowing mercilessly,
It adopts any form, it expands miraculously,
It suffers all blows, and returns them equally,
It lends life to it's slaves, promises harmony,
Yet in storms it does rage, whipping them terribly,

The Memory

Again, the pieces of my memory,
Have reunited to create this untold story,
Reflective beams of brilliant glory,
Paint the words that bloom from the mists of allegory.

The sunlight dances on the eve of January,
The mystical shafts as slivers of Winter,
Fade into the fields of the soothing whisper,
Above the starry snow strewn sanctuary.

The night is light, the hearts are merry,
The soft-spoken coos of moonlight tarry,
Beyond the adoring gaze of auroras fairy,
The souls embrace the depths of their aerie.

The lustrous delight of the warmth of the end,
Exhale sweet perfumes of the blissful melody,
Joy dances among the hearts of the visitor and friend,
As all are united together in the purpose and journey.

Maybe

I knew a God, he never answered, so I left him definitely,
His silence stung, his words were empty, but there was a hole in me,
I called to man, I searched the heavens, I dreamed of lands, of love, of beauty,
But always silence, met my tears, my mind searched on frantically.
So I moved on, to other thoughts, ones that would let me be,
Whole again, the amazement I sought, independent permanently,
So I pursued the path I chose, it was mine, this idea of liberty,
Yet chagrin arrived, and chastised my lies, and revealed this thing to me.
I flew on wings of foreign design, of mechanical build, you see,
What I thought was mine, naught but a hoax, a fool I was, in tragedy,
I wallowed anew in my senseless shame, for a time, lost in memory,
To arise again, the pain still fresh, the hole still gaping in me,
Unanswered questions, blooming in death, the end had arrived for me,
Even this crime, I desired for myself, was not my own, not certainly,
So I dug through all, I lived again, hoping for some possibility,
A glimpse of Truth, a hint of joy, somewhere, some certainty,
But from my soul it rose, this forbidden song, this forgotten melody,
That soothed my heart, calmed my ardor and bathed me in harmony,
It whispered, it cooed, it breathed the words, the words that would guide me,
Impossible it was, that it came from none, truly, none other than me,

Repetitious Nature - Love

I love you my love, your heart is a black hole, I'll never escape from you, untouched by time, a universe of our own.

I love you my love, you're my haven from desperation, sanctuary for the weary, the crown to our supremacy.

I love you my love, inspiration from the noblest dedication, lending me the fire to bring me higher, the passion of creation.

I love you my love, whether I endure the torture, forsake my shame, aspire for more, I'll always remember your name.

I love you my love, overcome by the universe, crushed by fatality, broken by my curse, trapped in a twisted reality.

I love you my love, render my existence bearable, my motives honorable, save me from chaos, erase the terrible.

I love you my love, once I'm done, no pleasure in fun, meaning to be the one, fulfillment is undone.

I love you my love, clutch on to uncertainty, risking truth's integrity, for the hope of a better destiny.

I love you my love, confusion dominating through the lie, virtue and beauty shatter and die.

I love you my love, my spirit soars, wishing to fly, crashes to the ground, fallen and dry, society will sigh - hear my soul's anguished cry.
