Gaylord Munemo

The season came

The lamp within my heart,
Triggering a deep insight,
Bringing in a great light,
Taking away the grief and hurt,

Loving you above great heights,
Fighting for you with might,
Proud to realise im right,
Right to know for you i will fight

The reason i had in mind,
I thought i said it with time,
The treason i did against you,
I thought i was punished in time,
The season then came,

The season to share the love i had,
A season to forget treason,

The prodigal lover

I can walk a thousand miles my love,
Forgive me for the secrets i kept,
Forgive me for things you saw,
The actions i did wrong against you,
Depriving you your time,
My heart was stolen by another woman,
Yet i realised you still my queen,
Im sorry for the wrong moves,
You were everything i had,
Yet i was everything you both needed,
Im back for good my love,
The infidelity of my past life,
The tears, pain and sorrow,
Cant let another man take you,
Should i, could i and would I?
Lets settle down my lady,
I will marry you, its a choice

You complete me

What is the world without the sun,
What is the earth without water,
What is a tree without air,
What is life without a hearbeat,
What is love without you

What is joy without laughter,
What is happiness without a smile,
What is a vision witout sight,
What is a building without a foundation,
What is love without you

What am i without your presence,
Who am i in your absence,
What will i be without you care,
What can i be my love

Where are the days we spent,
Where is the love we had,
Where is the woman i love,

Talk to me my Love

If today is my last day on earth,
What will be your last words to me,
Will you say dont go too soon,
Or you will say rest in peace,
Talk to me my love

If its your last breath today,
What will you do lastly,
Would you die a virgin my love,
Or will you honor your purity,
Talk to me my love

If marriage is nolonger allowed,
Will you slide in my room,
Or will you abide by the fate,
Would you love the life you choose,
Talk to me my love

If i wake up a blind man,
Will you love me like you did,

She Pointed At Me

When the world became harsh on her,
When they tried to manipulate her choice,
When they said they know better,
Among the great was i novice,
She pointed at me

While they searched for better,
Resting on the bed was I,
They claimed to be great and mighty,
Among all the noble man she made a choice,
She pointed at me

Shivering was i in fear,
Among champions, was an amatuer,
Among the rich i was poor,
Yet she made a choice,
She pointed at me

Can i be the one?
Myself i asked with anxiety,

The Anthropology of Love

My pen bleeds our epistymology,
My hands offers the ontology,
I love you dearly through ethnology
Love me more with ethnography
We are done with stories of love,
Armchairism paralyses our strong love

Objectivity stengthens our abillities,
Subjectivity sharpens our capabilities,
Womanhood you claimed in the interview,
Participatory observation I long to do
Remember Goffman my love,
The front stage and the back stage
Dialetical it is, hedonistic we are

You and me, no radicalism,
Me and you its functionalism,
Proved by empiricism,
Yes we have no criticism,
The Anthropology of our love

You Will Be Gone

My hands shiver with fright of agony,
In my eyes is a flood of tears,
Around my neck is a rope of melancholy,
All in the moment of uncertain thoughts,
The count down,
About to go is your love,
And about to come are my tears,
One day for I shall sleep,
In that look at my left side
You will be gone

So shall I travel with the speed of light,
Pondering upon that wonderful moment,
To wait until midnight under that tree,
Can the stars see my search,
A man in a bag of confusion,
At our secret place shall I find,
Your presence ever absent,
To wait for you my friend,
But you will be gone

Two beautiful stars

As shiny and glittery as ever,
The clouds try to cover,
But the luminous penetrates always,
The moon passes in amusement,
Such light i have never seen,
Like two roses in the grass field,
You and me in the merciless world,
How wonderful and bright we are,
The two little stars

Where is the sun my love,
Do we really need it darling,
Our love an example of light,
In the night we shine so bright,
You, me, two little beautiful stars

The world sees in amusement,
The light sparkling from above,
The beams of grace and chastity,
Who else can it be,

Could I ever be your hero?

In those desolate nights,
When life is of fright and fear,
The curtains waving dramatically,
The moon darkening slowly,
Could i ever be your hero?

The hours when your heart is slow,
Your mind so much in pain,
Giving up and losing all hope,
Trying to no avail,
Will i ever be your hero

The moments of your last breath,
Your skin becoming cold as ice,
Finding life in lifeless places,
The heart beat slowing down,
Could i ever be your hero?

When life turns back on you,
Seeing no bravery in yourself,

Love Me Tenderly

To walk about aimlessy,
Down the dirty roads with melancholy,
I found love in an unexpected place,
Picking a rose among thorns,
To take a lady among women,
Love me tenderly my love

To love you without a reason not to,
To search for you in my pocket,
Hoping you might just come near,
That i may love you deeply,
So you may love me tenderly

Living with the memories all my life,
I met an angel along my way,
Now my eyes are so clear,
Clear to love without fear,
Please love me tenderly

I need your tenderness,
