Mother Only Matters
A few years passed by,
she gave me a gift today
She told me that she was thinking
of a special way.
To be a little closer
to an angel that's got her wings.
Words just don't do it,
like material things.
She saw it in the window
of that little shop.
It made her eyes sparkle,
as she felt her heart drop.
She ran to pick her up one,
but instead she got two.
She said this is my love from me too you.
I bought it for our Mother,
and it made me think of you!

Can You Hear Me
As I dare not speak a word, I feel it still shows in my eyes.
A pain I will never share; forever locked in time.
Forty years has passed, and still there it lies.
It becomes a part of you, like a hidden mine.
Trust is gone that's for sure, stolen in a tragic moment.
Screams of why, echo's through your mind, where was God.
So I decided to stand and conquer this torment.
The fault was not mine, nor God's.
A peaceful feeling came over me, because now I see.
The past is gone it's only there to look upon.
And counting your blessings can set you free.
Our paths will lead us to different situations.
We just got to learn how to be strong.
When finally you can see beyond the pain,
Your journey begins without control.
God does not control you, he only wants the best.
Why would you let Satan, put you through that test?

Deep Songs
As life takes its course, full of adventure and wonder.
One day at a time, through laughter, joy even tears.
Holding on to one more moment, is our desire.
The human weakness and all its fears.
A mistaken love drives asunder.
Remembering the first smile that you shared.
A teasing feeling, deep within your mind.
Loosing all sense of reality takes control.
The perfect peaceful place did you find?
Or a path of pain, have you snared?
As you drift towards, that forbidden place.
Deeply dwelling in hopes and dreams!
Trembling sensitivity consumes your souls.
Growing closely as each day passes.
A happiness glow dominates your faces.
Before a mistaken act takes its toll.
Searching for that perfection we continuously seek.
Wondering if we captured what we want in life?
Enjoying each moment, or waisting our time?
But still we leap for that stolen moment.

Rethink
An overwhelming sense of shock and dismay claimed my soul.
I sat and wondered how I can escape the trap I plunged into.
I cried out to God, help me before it takes its toll.
As I thought of what had happened, and ounce was.
Realizing I was making the sadness within me grow.
Stepping back and running forward, I started to rethink just because.
And in the process I learned a few valuable lessons.
I learned I have control! It just takes time to master.
I imagined a place in my life where I loved being alive.
Finding qualities within me, That only I would ever see.
I realized deep inside my mind was a foe.
And rethinking would set me free,
I told myself to learn from all my blunders.
And the seed of sadness would be put asunder
Telling myself that tomorrow is a brand new day.
Thinking positive would be the only way.
Music always eases the mind, kisses of kindness in many ways.
Dreaming of what I want to be, apart from the nightmare that consumed me.
