Dichotomy

Cherishing moments, their memories flee time
Living their lives away by themselves
Solitude marks them, their dance without the other
Threading secrets into their lone existence

She trails his footsteps, and he, he goes where she would
Tandem in life, their rhythm in perfect symmetry
Their silence fall gently on each other's universe
Keeping them together in two separate worlds

The prince of darkness cannot hold her light
It's a sequence they are cloaked in, to battle out life
Their times together cannot be revealed
That's the price they pay, to live out their truth

Grant them a wish, and it would be, each other
Just the one thing their lives would not hold
Ways of realties steel meshed in the matrix
Locked in love, forging on through layered realities...

Ambiguity

I walk over thoughts, breathing my ambiguity
I sometimes have to walk away, singled out and solo
First thing in the morning; like the gentle breeze on my skin
I walk away the edges, to soothe my hot brow

My face against the cool grass, fresh and green in dew pools
My fingers over orphan flowers - lilacs with secret rights
I succumb me, my peace in sage dawns
Beyond wisdom, that dances me into the euphoria

I am cast; the monk from layered lives
Whirling in the intoxication of a thousand dreams
I wish them alive, I give them my magic form
As every breathe vapour, into the mystery

Some of us are Phantoms that freedom surged forth
On realities that shaped from forgotten portals
We drink from destiny that thrives on our lives
Slaking deep, from earth's ancient lore...

Picking Diamonds

I was picking diamonds from the heavens
When my hair got tangled with the stars in the breeze
Fireflies reached up in glee too, their soft glow dancing
Singing our mirth awash with moon-paint, I smiled

Then the night tugged gently, pulling away the sky
For the dawn to stroll in, with her show-stopper colors
The diamonds in my hands were spilling their brilliance
Reaching down to earth, to jewel my silent hopes

I learned to fly with the winds on rapture
Their swoosh, music to my hopes on wish-pegs
They warm themselves in the summer-sun promises
Waiting to burst alive on my future rainbows

Some nomads we pick treasures from the future
The skies and nature our only witness
We walk with them prized in our hunting bags
Carrying hope in its precious revered status...

Release

That's my soul in flight, across freedom
Winging through meadows, calm, and soaring high
I look down and see no one, not a single person
Just the flowers singing in the sunshine wash

The wind across my face, it is gentle on me, I am home
The elation I know is forever, I am a speck that was life
Spiraling in vantage, I am now free, in release
No mars, no scars from the old talons of humanity

I can sing, my voice clear over buried hurts
Carrying the crystal sparkle of my guileless spirit
I am luminance that the light carries as its heritage
Unleashed in my essence, I finally find my sanctuary

Goodbye earth, your dimensions couldn't hold me
You cant have been my mother ever
You are browning yourself, with the trauma around you
Lets meet again when you find your release…

Eve

The wind howled its savage tunes
Moving the rain to torrent gloom
The dark wailed to the lonely night
As lightning lanced great blinding blows

She stood still in that treacherous moment
Waking to life that the creator wouldn't share
Braving wrath and the serpent's desertion
Innocent Eve birthed history and its descendants

She was ruled by a jealous god
Of mysterious games and dark threats
Spurned by his territorial reserve and plays
Eve walked life to learn, to live

Braving centuries and newer gods
She walks lives and carpets wisdom
Setting paces and wheeling destiny
A tireless creator scouring the same hearth

Rage Inverted

Smother me darkness, let me bury my fears
Coals in my heart, I stumble through live hopes
I step aside - don't touch me winds of change
Leave me alone, I need to find my way again

Dreams - don't bleed me, did you have me tread wrong?
I could hurl this life away; shards on your conscience
You don't win if I am ruined and if I lose,
You lose too, and your undoing would be me

Solitude - I danced my whole life into your arms
Did you give me a choice, or was it again a deceit?
Did you need me so much in your solo existence?
Could you not find another who would give you this much!

Walk with me, my childhood, let me live you again
Let me orphan myself into life, and learn things my way
I would trace my existence on another set of dreams
Dreams that don't trade-off as love goes missing…

Lost

Those walls never whispered his name somehow
I went to his house believing I would find him
The hollow rooms too quiet, the gardens aloof
A frail palm growing on his forgotten ashes

There was a lone picture upstairs, lost and angry
It had his eyes shouting in pain and confusion
Neglect had eaten him, his soulful eyes staring hard
They were on fire, rage and disgust toying him helpless

Tears couldn't reach him when he died,
His face didn't get kissed like everyone else's
A soul just snuffed out, killed by no reasons to live
As his children stood frozen in another land not far away

Each of them now live the same frozen void
As memories march incessant on their fractured lives
Battling hard each day, to forgive and forget
They still peer into the tricky past, to search for their father…

My Dark Angel

I could reach out for him in all my solo mornings
Him at my borders, guarded, steel and strength
My dark angel brooding, hooded eyes on me
Not a moment's let, and yet the turbulence!

He is everyone I want, he is all I know of life
He is my mystery intact, he is every unspoken wish
Every moment we leave undone, has its unsung charm
We slough our essence on each other, every whim's dance

He is mine and he is not, like I am his on not a single night
Like hunting together, like feeding on each other
We devour moments that slakes on our distance
Watching resilience and steel sing their swan song

I am every woman, I carry all his mysteries
I am everything he will never have in his lives
I am earth, I am moon, I am femininity and nighttime
The Yin he starves for in his fires, suns and daytime…

Turning Dawn

Skipping daintily on dew drenched mornings
She wakes up the enigma in sleeping flowers
Purple lilacs and yellow buttercups open
As the sun rises on her delicate morning radiance

She rides the gentle breeze, first kiss of a new day
Touching sleepy minds, their worries brushed off
Nurtured by her soothing glow, the day climbs up again
To the waiting world, jaded from all the nights gone

She is the fragrance of new promises on the horizon
She cleanses little regrets, shaping them around
Breathing her freshness into their porous memories
A day unleashed for new beginnings from old songs

She is our heritage from the sun's own treasure trove
Gracing our mornings, hewing its myriad possibilities
She paints afresh tirelessly though our churn is high
Turning dawn, working magic into the brilliant sun…

Freedom

I dance in the shadows, away from my life
Circling my dreams, painting the atmosphere
Layers of realities smile their deception,
Come undone at my ancient presence

Memories slough away the cobwebs of ignorance
To hear my thoughts entwined with the rapture of a lone breeze
Drifting drunken, caressing petal-soft dreams and desires
Listening to the wind's stories; secrets on palm leaves

Silent again for a moment as I forget my center
Leaving behind all my sunrises
Waiting by the silver well
For a dropp of the Moon

Words sound their secret waterfalls
Falling eternal; water-language…
And water learns to talk, to soothe, to listen…
As I slake my thirst from forgotten moments
