Fabled puppet masters
residing in the shadows of the rafters
pull miss piggy's short curly strings
profiting capital amusement
capitol cameras roll as she strikes a war time payload pose
Audience caught in a pants down trance
by the mindfuck marionette vaudeville show

protestors boarding the edge of sanity and passion
firing off dull rounds of awful aimed textbook hate rhetoric
Library bondage liberals
swat yesterday's invisible fly
with rolled up issues of rolling stone.
Kamikaze conservatives
march the mall
burning mosques in drunk fear rage
armed with molotov cocktails
of holly roller rhetoric
fueled by tomorrow's oil
and old burning remains

Ah permafrost vapors passing through the pores!
Infinite Snow flakes form
like distinguished new day dew drops!
Frozen moments of TimeSpace
dripping down the brow:
quick dissolving ditties caught upon the tongue!

Stranded in waves of shifting scene...
Sitting here on this leaky tin can park bench...

Conscious Bond of Universal Suffering and The Coming Opus Love Overflow!

The Human bond of earthly suffering
Suffering earthly bondage of the body
The human suffering and earthly bondage
caused by the love filtering psyche!

Nothing bonds like human suffering
nothing damages love more than the suffers of desire
No suffering as human as the desire to be loved!

The fact remains universal:
all on earth who succumb to the power
creating human suffering
possess still the human power of transcending

So tell me who's suffering this day
or any day?
Who needs an arm, a hug,
a warm home cooked meal?
Who else needs to feel the warmth of a breathing body

OH, Who wants to hop-step down the short porch steps with me?

Let us waltz through pools of damp electric lambency,
the street lights, tonight, shall be our ball room chandeliers.

Poetry's Heart beat in motion, night's naked ghost,
forbidden dance of stardust and smoke.
Spirited rhythm of feet transgressing
traffic void dark
howling awol hilarity
salient escapee cheers

Never felt so alive
feel as if I'm about to write
the poem I think I've written
over a thousand times

yet here I am - In this place - in this time
(living it out it seems as if again)

I step outside

Passing Perpetual Cemeteries En Route To The Eventual Wedding

Like a salt seasoned
chain smoking
speakeasy sleuth:
A mind's eye Sam Spade -
too tired to care, sporting a shadowy
jungle growth of shipwrecked
castaway facial hair,
tongue lapped by the sailor's briny thirst,
I prematurely snuff out my cigarette,
pick up my trusty sidekick pen,
pocket traveling notebook and survey the room.
Suspicious sundry of circumstance and motive
outlining the alcohol enthralled milieu
As I write, a pale citrine curious
beam of clean lemon light
illuminates the paper thin margins;
