Love Sonnet 162 When I Perchance, Did Glance Upon Your Face

When I perchance, did glance upon your face,
But on intent, have sought to hold your hand,
I might, on private times, claim that embrace,
And scout for site where caring lips would land;
So long as eyes can see, and touch can feel,
You are as what my ardent rhyme implies,
Should age deal blows from which beauty would reel,
These memories could vouch, I wrote no lies;
By then, deep furrows may have plowed your checks,
As Time pours out its years of etching bile,
And woes have smeared its taints on wrinkled flecks,
Yet these won't damp the luster of your smile:
......Furrowed underneath, but not least defined,
......For it's like a word that's been underlined.

Love Sonnet 150 Now, out with your tambourines, greet the dawn

Now, out with your tambourines, greet the dawn,
The sun glows sweet, after a pitch dark night,
While tossed, aimless, at sea, to shore she's drawn,
And sweet waif's sail, billows brightly in sight:
Lower the planks, connect with love to dock,
Let lilies bloom, now they have reason to,
Then play the song that black curtains can't block,
Roll up the shades, bid all the gloom to go:
Bring out Euphoria, enough to go around,
Don't understate your mirth, as Spring now starts,
For once, this joy was lost, but now is found,
And for this sweetly, prodigal of hearts:
.....Rejoice, that though how oft it went to roam,
.....It found no roost until it came back home.

A Believer To His Love

Angels must have eavesdropped in all my dreams
Made those come true by leading me to you
And thanks to God for sun and rays it beams
But doubly so for you and love you show

I guess, the womb bore me destined for you
And might this love pursue to hereafter
Just holding you keeps Paradise in view
In joy forever, Time could not alter

All the days find me yearning for your touch
Not a night would dawn, without hoping
That tomorrow brings more love, trust as much
And may the good Lord hear my heart praying

Though Heaven, I'll wish not if you're not there
There's hope we could be free of sinful taints
And then come Judgment Day, be together
And be no longer sinners, but as saints.

Love Sonnet 157 Why Do I Do As Though My Dough Bakes Well

Why do I do as though my dough bakes well,
When bread so lacked the tarts, your touch imparts,
Like tide that's been in ebb, I wait for swell,
And pray it comes, before daytime departs;
But boughs that capped your bags along a bend,
When April loosed its tears, as parting calls,
Would find no leaves to shed, it's Summer's end,
This goes for all, after that last leaf falls;
Yet, stars there'll be, presaging what they'll bring,
Omens, fortunes, for which I got no flair,
But crave I, the feeling of being king,
To stare at stars from chair that sits a pair;
........My eyes will seek no stars for light they'll show,
........For I have sought within your eyes their glow.

Woman

Adam woke up to find her by his side,
But just wondering, what she's been doing,
While he was asleep, with nothing to hide?
Moses wrote none. So dropp the foregoing.

She hanged gardens, Babylon, not Eden,
Once, the object of war, remember Troy?
Kind and cruel, from fairy tales, to then,
Myths of goddesses, who care or destroy.

She's remembered by her sword, or her smile,
Can or might, rule a kingdom, or the king,
Among her feats, being all so worthwhile,
Is to rock the cradle, or carry the string.

Being known as weak, is her protection,
Her tenderness, the weapon to conquer,
Life with her is Hell, some men did mention,
But then, could they have Heaven without her?

An Atheist To His Love

Chance been kind, it arranged for us to meet
But kinder yet, when man it has evolved
Then it happens, that you're my love so sweet
Around whose life, my entity revolved

The world that came to be, starts with a bang
Or from the strings that generate each thing
The truth, my hopes and dreams now thereat hang
But you, I hold concrete, my everything

Alas, like flame that dies, we'll all soon be
No souls, no destiny or worthy cause
So love, as love is meant as wind that's free
For when we're dust, we'll lay of little use

Please, hear me, my sincere heart insists
That you're the one I'll be loving so much
I'd swear to high heavens, if it exists
And pray to god, they say, if there is such.

Invicto

The coldest wind which fills my sails
Sent colder chills throughout my spine
As now the rigging grimly wails
That mast seems willing to recline

The taut sinews binding my bones
I felt tighten into a knot
We're on this strait, that chart disowns
And even God may have forgot

The land seemed farther than it's been
Farther than dawn which is to break
In doomed contest lie in between
Me and my ship, should one be weak

My ship! Fail not ahead of me
We're not to know how deep these graves
Rally your strength, your strength that be
For I've resolved to ride the waves!

What Are We?

We clear up lands of forest primeval
Only to plant new ones for survival;
Leaders scheme to modernize their nation
Others hold back, crying conservation;
Settlers would get land appropriations
While natives move into reservations;
We dig canals, but cover up ditches
In times past we treat good men like witches;

We lure tourists with thrills and suggestions
And suffer traffic jams and congestions;
Nations arrange games for friendly matches
Supporters fight each other on the benches;
Many pray to kind gods, but kill for grace
Or arm, ready for war so there is peace;

Some rare insects we have sought and cared best
While those living with us we kill as pest;
We keep rites, sutras for copulation
And then warn of overpopulation.

Song To Celina

Her company recalls of strolls
....beneath mid-morning skies,
Sheltered by canopy of clouds
....that stayed and may demise,
Her heart that always feel for birds
....the meaning of their cries,
For bees if they have hives uncared
....so honey never dries.

Oh, share to me your thoughts divine,
so we can dream as one,
Or keep me sealed within your heart
so our union is done,
You cleared the mist that taints my days,
to fully show the sun,
You have brightened the starry skies
So nights I now have none.

Alas, my rhymes can't dignify,
....the song in her is found

The Raging Storm

Winds howled, while rain drummed on the roof, so loud,
The thin walls squeaked, as heard from shack within,
The flimsy roof, might as well be a shroud,
Of stick and grass, that now has spread so thin.

A gust, so strong, decreed the shack must lean,
While flying leaves and twigs, came speeding by;
Tomorrow's trash, the storm will leave to clean,
Just then a gust, has kissed the roof goodbye.

A calm ensued, but soon, winds howled anew,
No roof waits now, to delight the rain,
Debris, that back to where it came, all flew,
The shack that leaned, is now upright again.

And yet, more storms deep in the heart, still rage
With wayward winds that blow, and rain that strums,
Might sway the soul astray, the coward's wage,
But now a song of hope, within it hums.
