Fool To Believe
You told me you loved me and wanted to be with me. So i gave you my love in return but you threw it back in my face. Then you told me your heart was for the taken, so I gave you mine but you broke it into pieces.You whispered sweet lies how you would cherish me. So i gave you body but you took it savagely. Then i cried my last tear because all the sweet lies you told me I was a fool to believe and kept on believing until you finally broke me.

Know Or Not
They say it’s better to have loved then never loved at all
But if you never loved then you would never have a broken heart
You wouldn’t feel like you’re dying and being ripped apart from the inside out
Because how can you miss something you never had
Then again you wouldn’t know pure joy
The excitement a simple touch can bring
Or what it means to truly be free and fly
So as I sit and ask myself which is truly better
Memories that won’t seem to die flash before my eyes
My head whispers to never know
But my heart cries out love is worth the constant torture

Love Hurricane
Oh what a disaster a hurricane can bring. Resembles love in its true form. Its instinct is to kill and destroy whatever is in its path. It plays no favoritism so don't think you're safe because you're not. With wind so strong it drags even the strongest things out of the ground. It destroys people lives and changes everything until it's unrecognizable. You feel so lost but there's nothing you can do to stop it or change its path. Once it's there that's it you can kiss everything goodbye. Your old life is no more. Its aftermath is like Hell on Earth unleashed. You will always remember it of that it makes sure. You can cry all you want but tears and hope can't bring it back. A hurricane has no sympathy for your pain or lost dreams. But hold on tight and salvage what you can because it might be a long journey but if you're lucky you might see a rainbow.

Last Tear
My heart cries out for you no longer
My mind has finally convinced it that it’s better off
You promised me a never-ending love yet all you gave me was pain and suffering
So last night as I prayed I finally cried my last tear for you
Because I deserve the never-ending love you promised but didn’t deliver
So I’m trading all my heartache and pain for joy
All my hate and anger for love
With Gods mercy and love
I now have peace with the way things went
Knowing that God is going to bless me
I move on and pray for you
So don’t think you broke me you didn’t
You only knocked me down, which put me in the perfect position to pray
And forgive myself and you
So you see with God’s love and direction I am just fine
God never closes one door without opening another
I can finally say I am ready for that door to be opened
And I have faith it’s going to be the best yet

Only one true perfect love no more searching
Always searching for a love we think we'll never find.
Oh heartache after heartache we start losing faith.
From mistakes we can't escape.
Our shattered dreams start burying us in darkness until we can no longer see the light.
Hate for ourselves and others start building up.
From all the shame, guilt, regret, and lies
we wonder who we are and how we've fallen so far.
Why can't we find someone to love us the way we yearn to be loved?
How does love turn to hate so fast?
Why does everyone give up?
Always searching for a love we think we'll never find.

Always has and always will.

Chance It
Risk it all.
Take another chance.
Put it all on the line.
Don't hold back and don't back down because our love is worth it.
So love me.
Don't play me.

Love set up in Flames
I thought you were the one. I mean we were so happy, of course we had our share of fights but who doesn’t. I would of done anything for you and I thought you felt the same. But you set our love up in flames. All I’m left with now are ashes and memories of what use to be. It kills me inside not knowing where it all went wrong. In just one day my world fell a part and I was like a bystander that could do nothing about it. How could you go from always wanting to be with me and telling me you would never break up with me because it would break your own heart, to not caring about even being my friend or talking to me? How can you just walk right past me like you don’t even know me after all the love we shared? You told me you always wanted to find love but when you did you just threw it away like it was nothing. I know it wasn’t always good but love isn’t perfect you always have to work at it because nobody is perfect so of course its not going to be, but it is worth it. I mean people make mistakes and change but your suppose to love them through it. I’m just so lost without you and I try to make my heart understand that you don’t love me and that it needs to get over it but it doesn’t listen. So tell me baby how can I get over you when your all I think about and every sign points straight to you? I guess all the signs are and were wrong though because you don’t care and I can’t make you love me again if you ever truly did. I mean it seemed like you did the way you held me, kissed me, that look in your eyes and all the things you said but then again maybe it was all for show. I guess I will truly never know if you did or not and if so how and why did you stop. All I know is that I can’t stop loving you even though you are a jerk to me now I remember how you use to be so sweet. I miss everything about you even hearing you play you guitar, and listening to your crazy blues music. I would do anything to get it all back and I know it would be better this time. But I know you don’t care. So I’m just left holding the ashes of a love gone wrong that’s slowly turning to hate with no way to make it right again. Oh how sad it is when a love goes up in flames and the one you loved did it. It kills a part of you that is forever lost and nothing is ever the same again because it changes you.
