Water Fountain
water flow and spraying
a small pond around
not to deep, not to dirty
the mighty fountain spraying many feet up
children playing in it, screaming and laughing
splashing and dipping, feet wading
cheerful chatter can ways be found
The fountain a magical place for everyone to enjoy
the simple times when we can be free
a quick lunch a simple phone call
a quick pic of the beautiful water fall

Kid to Soldier
Little Boy, young man
playing guns, shooting guns
having fun, learning runs
little scout, recon scout
playing war, living war
making sounds, shooting rounds
finding friends, finding rebels
running thru sprinklers, running thru gun fire
screaming fun, Screaming pain
living life, surviving life
we are one, one and all
from boy to man
from playing soldier to fighting soldier
home to Mom, home to love

The Hummingbird
I seen a beautiful bird
from the distance, it looked buggy
as it got closer, it flashed many poses
its beautiful sound, it was bound for a feeder
it stopped in mid air, for us to glare
a speedy and gentle bird
zipping back and forth
teasing us with its moves
it showed us itself from above
wings flapping so fast
buzzing around, the pitch in prefect sound
it was a gorgeous bird
in awe how close it came
no fear, so dear

Look to the sky above there I be
in the clouds and in the breeze
By your side and in your heart
Taken by god, for time did not tell
The end was near
So many things still undone
and i not there to do
Love for you is always there

The day we met i knew
from the distance i could see

We all believe in faith
there is a heaven for everyone
there are all different kinds
some pray to the sun, others to thy god
from the Bible to the Watchtower to Quran
words are different, so are we
from Churches to the sands, from our beds

Many roads, many hills

A Walk In The Park
A walk in the park on a sunny day
follow the trails, beautiful miles
seeing nature, seeing strangers
birds, butterflies flowing endlessly
squirrals playing, chasing one another
benches with ladies feeding birds
kids off playing in the grass
strollers, bikes whizzing by
people running by, skaters rolling by
walks like this clears the mind
