Hunt

I'm tired not of the night but the blue sky
feeling like the owl dusk is when I fly
hunger struck hunt by the twilight of dawn
the eye of the storm, I strike in tremendous form

a scout great eye
can try but can't hide
run my prey
time for you to go bye bye

Humanity

We smile with hatred in our eye
we forgive through shame and despite
hidden engenders reveal through time
jealousy is a nasty attribute
yet without all the negativity
we would never know nor truly understand
the goodness within men and women
humanity is a strange destructive
yet beautiful.

My mind's a mess,
Scrambled by the thought of you
A feeling towards that I can't define
The heart of mine, you
Because the soul's whole, you
It would be a crime
A life, any life without.

Doubts? Never
I do, but not forever
Is not enough
Existence beyond the next plane
I will, even if you stop

Deprived of judgement

Of knowing without thought
Limitless without ritual
A simulation of a child's imagination
In a mature manner

Alone with a diminishing smile
Alone with and without self-conflict
Alone without a worry with plenty to worry
Alone without a thought
A blank mind brewing insanity wine
Alone without shadow in sight
A man of vision
Alone with the walks of hell and back
A man, wise, stillness
A voice filled with conviction

In my mind happy is a choice
You either choose to be happy or
you choose to get by
A life of horror's ritual or
a simple joy's choice
All held by the type of smile of nature's will
Lonely has a hold
Life never travels right
Yet what always stands, is choice
Never too late, the choice to try
Also is the choice to be happy

My Green Mile

I found god in my Great Grandmother's eyes
where only the truth lies
dreams come to reality
in a heavenly playing field
no tricks no lies
no tall tales of a kiss goodbye
protected, safe and warm in grandmother's arms
puts my soul to ease, eyes lit smile
knowing on my time I'll see her again
when I walk the green mile.

Blind Fool

I lost it and it cost me
I let it take hold
this is where it got me
walking blind fold

My insecurities brought me here
I saw the signs: Beware
but I refuse to take notice and tackled on
now here I am,
Finally taken off the blind fold
stranded in the middle of nowhere
a place where only fools reside

I do right to have wrong put upon me
I do right to have problems spat upon my face
I cry not of sad but of a beautiful song
for all the wrongs place in front me
I smile a joy so strong, from now til not long
to the next, this life will pass on
I do with all my might to disperse a beautiful

simple yet intellectual
discarded of all superficial, materialist objects
my moral may not
my smile made false
manifest in thought

present is now
future is and is not
