A Spirit Of Poetry!

when a spirit of poetry decent,
it came
In a form of dove

When it came
Jesus became first poet under sun
And Almighty God
Was already, first poet over sun?

Using Poetry in poetic foam
Almighty GOD spoke through poetry
And he is a poet himself

Now his poetry is everywhere, and anywhere
We interact with poets
Words are like soil, are everywhere
Brighter that Sun
His poetic lights lead the way

When he likes

Death comes to wedding

Truth has been loitering around her like a devil's advocate.
Found its alighting on her singular day
It came out and cleft her up
Like a walnut under elephant foot

She looks at me with her eyes
Like two full moons fading in the clouds
Swayed side to side like a young palm tree on windy day
The sky was filled with a loud hiss
She converged all the sorts of sobs

Fell on a ground like an animal ready for lion's lunch
The attendants instigated weeping and wailing
As if her hiss was a song
Until they had furrows of tears in their cheeks
Like it was aftermath of her funeral

Jilted on her wedding
That's the Truth that smite.
To me! It was like bloody meat in the lion's teeth

A Youth of Janice Bronwyn Linden era and of 1976

The difference between a youth of Janice Bronwyn Linden era
And the youth of 1976

1976 Their daily bread was not yet sovereignty
And singing not yet uhuru
They heard a smell of injustice in old uniform
Rebellious against it everywhere and anywere!
They fought injustice with their lives
they fought every inhuman out of human

A youth of Janice Bronwyn Linden era
They sing not yet developed
And they have a freedom in their lifetime.
The streets are as they where in 1976
And the dust is still unsettled.

I sense a feeling of corruption, maqhabane!
Unruly against all those championing liberation
And defy them against all odds!

A Woman And The Dog!

Leopards pinpoints each other with black spot
So dogs with a smell

One day you found this dog
Charming, appealing and man enough
So bold and strong to fulfills your lust.
That's then

You have lent all that, from the dog!
Loving, caring and romance

A dog that was raised by a woman
Not knowing that she is raising a dog
A barking dog, Woof! Woof! !

You are a bloody dog!
You earn to be in doorstep
All daylong and all nightlong
To divert your doggy conduct

For Vusi Masilela: With Nicholas Jiyane

Hey! My bra?

It's a deed is done
We have grafted a positive success
And synergy of time
So great like morning due
I give you a round of applause

It was like a dream
It's transplanted so fast
As fast as a springbok
running like a hungry leopard

When we met we shall cherish life
Like a Prince and Cinderella

Now we take a break
May be a short interval
From December to December
with 'Hope and faith' the budies

A Poem For Mr And Mrs...

I have never met you officially!
And my wife didn't know what to say!
When I ask her, where are your parents?
So, I can give you a hard hands shake
And tell you, thank you for a beautiful daughter.
death came and denied you the chance.

I haven't met you
Death came! Just before I can,
Tell you that 'I am intending to marry your daughter'
Death came! Just before!
i can give you her lobola
And ask you to count it.
death came and denied you the opportunity

I wanted you to be there,
On our engagement day and our wedding day
To share with us, the feeling and excitement
Cuddle and chuckles of the day.
death came and denied you the moment

Don't die this winter

Don't die this unfriendly winter and interrupt it
Unfriendly people should speak and go

It's a cold winter seasons are cousins
They visit one, at the time
Even the world is trembling
is in white dress
Smoke oozing from its mouth

Its cold dry winter
And all the seasons are on succession
It's a windy winter
Its hard to live

This winter is unusual
It freeze the pockets of the pocketers
Is a cloudy winter and sun is scarcity
We are all out for it
We all hunt it like hunters
And hunted like an animal

Where Ever You Are, Xholile Or Xholisile

I happen to me her in R55 and Heidelberg road
Miles away from Alberton City
Xholile or Xholisile
Uncertain and certain she is from Kwa-Zulu Natal

Some men are useless
Unable to provide basics
And help the needy

She looks more like prostitute
I judged a book by its cover

She told me her misfortune
Her humiliation Harassment and discrimination.
By her step mother, women do that to other women?
Don't blame me for not folding the conversation as it should
Bare with me, i am not a Zulu

She now has disorganized sexuality
Sores in valobian tubes

Home even when i am away from home.

You can take me out of home
But you can't take out home in me
Distance? Keep me away from home
And one day home will keep you away from you
Mountain? You might close the space
And the space will never close the home vehemence in me

Liar? you might lie about my home
But you can't lie about meaning of home
Gossip monger? you might gossip about my home
But you can't gossip about home fever in me
Killer? Kill miles between
When you reach my flesh
Don't flash out the meaning of home in me

You can turn diagrams into diamonds
You can turn zeros into heroes
You can turn gold into old
You can turn sorrow into happiness
Still you can't change the meaning of home in me
