I'm sitting here wondering
can i hide my emotion through words
writing in metaphors
when really its all plain
I'm broken
easy enough to say
but what does it mean

who says that to explain emotion
except a poet
finding metaphor for emotion

I Was the Promise Breaker
my parents expect me to understand
they expect me to think its just about them
expect me to know its not my fault..
but honestly its all a lie they thought
they think it makes me feel better to know
that sometimes love doesnt grow
and now they have grown so far apart
