A Robin's Song
Throat attuned to noblest key,
That rejuvenates unnoted after each call note
Within the robin's inner flute's nostrils,
Without rush or rapture of wings,
Flew up unearthly, untaught music's airy voice,
Making the green dome re-echo
That gives space an expansion
Of the melting tone till sky came down
In breaths as lost cosmic chord
From the song's soul to me
With the sound of a great AMEN-
Above the thunder of hidden guns.

A Water Melon's Truth
Roving back through wild centuries
At rust and ripeness time
To land blood wet, martyrs fed,
A water melon still conceives
What alone bears peace-a sweet heart,
Summer's blood, timber scent-
Each slice for life time sweet,
Munch you as you would grapes or kisses.
Her only hope, wish for nothing on earth
Save eternal be her internal love's season,
Akin to sea plain where no autumn comes,
Though all things go, not one lasts.

A Child's reflection
Made homeless from home
Bombed city where though all
Extend arms, find it harder
To hold peace than explosives
In a napalmed land
As home bred exile I learn
To grow under a chemical sky
Dripping with nuclear fall outs
Flowing to other poison
Poured daily on earth and mind -
Today planet earth, tomorrow the stars.
How sad man who dreams of a home
In hereafter, can't share their warmth
To each other's heart, here and now..

A Memorial
Canonised when dead, cannonaded when in life,
Lofty your thoughts that savour of content
But loftier the craftmanship
More congruent in symmetry
Than ever are our warring senses-
All in silent watch -martyr.
Not your lust of martyrdom but the sculptor's chisel
Leaves a living name. world wonder made.
Sad, Time and with it, centuries fail to see
Not light of fulfilment in your eyes
But hollow worn in stone,
History's daintily cut lies.

Patience
Patience unlike imagination
Rushes not wind like only to butt
Against the mountain of senses
That bars the way unwended
And leave me my yearning wonder
How to quit this haunt of brooding dust
And let the real resume life's pilgrimage
But chick like in the egg of desire
Lets Time churn to change shell for soaring wings,
Charmed from changing for homing flight,
Scaling, suffer no failing or falling,
Where the Ultimate calls His exile home.

Beware Vengeance
Vengeance is egotism wrong side out-
violence itself in the garb of justice:
In shooting as envy at others
Itself topples break, scarred with graffiti
But no violence is more eye searing
Where manhood itself wants the virtue
To bury return harm, throttling hit back mentality,
What's the best self of humanity-
Submission to forgiveness and mercy
Where all the honour lies,
Delivers him from the force
That binds us all....retaliation.-
Whose name is frailty

A Womb's Virtues
What's womb beauty but an art divine
Where in my soul's graces shine
Sun like animates my being's charms
With a face, form, gesture, voice and a mind
Of a race that was and as such I'm myself
A part of the great cause, fed by some one
Larger than me.Strength matters little,
Speed not at all, no worrying, no plan
Just being there-a childish beauty,
Dream woven, cradled in now-
Of the oncoming awakening in the immortal
Better half side of life, have no knowledge.

Shore bird's reverie
Resigned to the march of nature,
Heedless to the spray
From the steaming wave,
A shore bird roosts brood
On the shore
Rolled by the sand shifting
As the tide shifts:
Some day this planet too,
The earth crust shifting
As universe turns side,
Like wealth and fame
To nothingness sinks.
Pines he not after his wings
Stained by tides
Or his passing original form,
So sunk is he in his only thirst
To drink creation whole,
Casting self out, to become

Silvery Years
Nobody loves life like him
Who touches silvery years,
Short of breath, yet longs for longevity,
Earth bound, heavenly amorous-
As dream more real than life,
Unspent joy of unborn golden years,
Though tomorrow narrows its space.
Called and stirred from far afar
By the far away slow moving door,
Opening, letting in, let out no more,
Unaware how far the ultimate
Transcends the what he knows,
Who lives as a sign of his journey
Whose secret gaze lies behind all eyes.

A Bee's life journey
Bees to whom days are but duties
And what matters
Only honey furnished interior,
Hive they in a peaceful tree house
Or city sick with slums and human bombs,
Like love makes no distinction
Brews for anyone
Even before love knows it is love.
Faithful to his gift of silent service
As best, integral to grace,
buzz far within the pollen
To the corner of creation
Till laden with what is sweet only
Yet takes no credit
Save continues to hold and serve
Something this exact, the real.
