Jealousy
Never at heart's ease
Should one be greater
Than her
This green eyed other self-
Twin sister of love.
Born from lack of self confidence
Grows into the proud child
Of envy that perverts the mind
feels pleasure in the reverse,
Cruel as the grave,
Can endure its own despair
But not neighbour's hope.
To ignore the force of jealousy
Is to deny the gravity
Of this strange passion.

Whither Traveller
Rattle fall rat grey rain,
Lightning torches only the sky,
Earthly feet gropes as braille
Soul's way in night's darkness.
Steamed stew, warm bed, light,
All not me, recedes
Save soaked wood scent
And the crow's croak
Or forest's voice in crow's accent-
Pure cosmology of perfection,
Where began creation
Beyond man's invention-
Dawn opening out to nature,
Reveals this morning of life.

River
Quiet at the source
But rises with its each displacement,
As man does not, nor his family,
Reteaches its flow-
Everything is elsewhere,
Swings into shape its consciousness
On the swimmer's hip.
The angular desire of the stone
Turns the river's run
As it steams in the sun
Entire ocean to space,
Without dying disappears
To be born anew as rain,
Blessed from above
As the dance of eternal balance.

A Celebrity
What attracts everyone's fancy
Makes them dream to be me
Is but my wellknownness
That denies me a life-
Enters the stage
Before i seem to enter;
An echo with a real voice
Like the truth of liars
Makes silence eloquent,
To whom all propose a toast
Despite a cold embrace
Or an adder's kiss
As if a stranger with whom
I'm forced to live...
In my own eyes not love light
Only history's finely cut lies.

Itch
Who understands the logic
Behind the desire
That flurries up nausea and breasts' itch,
Unmet, fret frown as birthmark
What's me made-hunger raw obsession,
Through blood cord,
Sip, what's mother chew drip
Whose juice taste of gardens
Arrested in autumn scent
Voluptuous with citron, myrtle, jasmine
Alive with bees buzz.
I sense all fruit sap
As current of our blood...
The green flooding into the red.

A Baby's Eyes
The golden ambers of your eyeballs
Are beaming with the most sacred feeling
Summoned and stirred by
The great mystery implicit within.
Tenderness lit look, nothing
Clinging to, illuminated in your infinite
Peace, amidst soot rich light,
In the perfection of its innocence,
Stands out doubly bright
On another time that is now, and hope-like
Assuages ill feelings to grace
And worries of unfulfilled to charm.

A Hint At What Is Beautiful?
Beautiful is the 'thank you'
Wrapped with gratitude,
Offered to peace prone people
Who go out of their way
To nurse shrapnel scalded victims
Amidst napalm drugged air,
Carrying their humanity, quietly
And humbly, in our
Blood stained, greed diseased,
Hate eaten world.
Beautiful is the moment,
When the heart indifferent
To joy or sorrow, just trusts
Whatever this life brings
But finds time to just be.

A Kiss
Of all raw passions, kiss alone
Seals lips but opens hearts
So short its distance
Be it of blood or two souls,
To reverence awareness,
Sweetest though unspoken
Understood by any tongue
Whose affection natural as sigh
Tastes like nothing on earth,
Links to states no man thinks,
Itself raises as a moment
In time's memory,
Love so sublime
Whose sound silent
Yet its echo lasts as truth-
A wish turned Godward.

A brief anatomy of love.
Love is not about the frail union
Of two bodies or exchange of two
Fantasies
But the owner of all states.
Love's most precious gift is life
And life's most beautiful necessity
Is to endow each human heart with love,
To love each other- the only kinship
That shames hatred to make
The world go round.
Man finds the greatest tranquility only
When he desires nothing save love.
A heart which has never loved,
Has never lived.

Peace
Peace is not sleep of mind
But a form of suppressed war,
Ever warring against lust of martyrdom,
And the mind lost in stray thoughts
And a fickle heart fat with stray devotion.
Peace like charity starts at home,
And is of the nature of conquest,
Conquering first desire on evil bent
As the acid test of manhood,
That no battle has ever known.
No less than war
Peace has its own victories,
Short of which man has nothing.
