Christmas poem for the troops
Away from your familys
death all around
Christmas is just a day for you guys
dont forget America is proud
Proud for your service
keeping the world free
you are star on Americas Tree
So when you feel down
and you wish you were home
look up in the sky
and relize you are not alone
America loves you on this christmas and every day
please come home safe
because without you
the hoildays in America just are not the same
God bless the troops on this hoilday season

Iraq War Poem (1) Writing Mom
Some once said
hell is the imposiblity of reason
thats whats this place feels like mom hell
We sleep all day mom
and drive all night like ghosts thru the desert
no one talks
no one
talking out here could get you killed
thats as little as it takes
I miss you mom so much
in a half hour
its back to patrol
back to the sand
I may make it home in one piece
but I will never be whole again
none of us will
shit gun fire
dont panic its routine

Doctors at the beach
Dirty needles
med waste too
some plastic gloves
a used tounge depressor
and some human goo
Slimy bags
with xxx writen across
a condom floats by
what was that used for
walking in the ocean
amazed at what you find
A hospital gown
maybe a heart or two
a liver
which you hope aint from some one you knew
Its is fantastic what doctors can do
use the beach as there office

Evil 3
Evil
in the hearts of people
in the heads of people
in the soul of people
Evil
will let you drive home drunk
will let you blame yourself hurting others
will let you be alone at times needed most
Evil
cares if bills cant get paid
cares if you over spend
cares if it not them spent on
Evil
looks at you and lies
looks at you and laughs
looks at you and hungers for weakness

Sad To Happy
In throws of depression
my bedroom window became salvation
such a simple object
held such wonderess images
Sun bright and inviting
grass plush and comforting
flowers colorfull and full of life
a bunny hopping ears long, its stride majestic
My depression on hold
for how can I be so sad
in a world this beautiful
Trees with arms reacing for blue skies
childern with enough energy to light a city
a ice cream truck singing and waiting to dispense it wonders
My smile regained
I turn depressed know more

Sad Is Just Sad
Sad is walking by flowers and not smelling them
passing a cool clear stream and not drinking from it
seeing only darkness among a sky of dazzling stars
having a family and always eatting alone
working 14 hour days and spending 5 minutes with children
watching tv on a sunny day
listening to hate music and not the birds singing
seeing only two colors black and white
thinking things only happen to others and not you
taking all the food you want but not eatting what you take
wishing for money instead of health and happiness
fooling everyone but yourself
sad is just that sad

Weeping angels
Down from heaven
to show the way to paradise
for the newly dead
the angels weep
So young
so innocent
so senseless
the angels weep
Eyes down
wings at there sides
words not exchanged
the angels weep
32 new angels
no need to earn there wings
like jesus they died for other peoples sins
in heaven they will weep

My Mom Sets the Table
Night after night my mom sets the table
full of joy she passes her hand over the green fleat
like dishes she lays her chips down
they her finest china carefully stacked
her drink is the insurance bet
night after night 21 meals are servered
6 people share the meal with her
we her family eat alone
yet night after night my mom sets the table
the table of broken dreams and poisoned meals
night after night she countinues to eat
untill is consumed
Night after night my mom sets the table
night after night we her family shallow the bitter meal she makes
Night after night my mom sets the table

Driving drunk
Car all over the place
can not keep it on the road
but that does not matter you are only five miles from home
Off the divider, almost into a pole
back in the middle
almost home
The light turns red, but see you do not
right through the intersection never did you stop
hitting a mini van with such a great force
the people in the other car were dead instantly of course
You wake in the hospital handcuffed
to the bed
just found about the five kids and mom
that you made dead
So you lay in bed and wonder why you survived
because now you have to live with the quilt for the rest of your fucking life
