Impossibly in Love Forever
So many days have passed
Crisscrossing innumerable
Summers and autumns
Since we’ve met,
But in my heart,
You remain beautiful and young.
I’m happy to have never noticed
Any other feminine face,
I’ve discovered the only destiny
For which my entire being is driven.

Bob Dylan Wrote Masters Of War
Soldiers commit suicide
In far-off distant lands
Suffering from battle fatigue
From seeing too many children
With blown-off eyes and hands!
There is only so much
Cruelty and death
Any sane human can take
Before his soul becomes
A withering flower
Perishing on desert sand.

Wineglass Saturday Night
Wineglass Saturday night is sweet
Worshiping all the girls
Who throw back their hair and laugh
When they notice my lonely gaze.
My life is Sunday morning strawberry jam
Smiling at the morning news,
Not letting any current currency of despair
Bankrupt my bountiful spirits.

Your Real Soul
Better to be
The servant of great men
Than the master
Of scoundrels;
Better to die
For a woman’s honor
Than be dishonored
In her eyes.
Life takes priorities
And the willingness
To accept sacrifice:
Once you’re dead,
Your real soul survives
In other peoples’ minds.

Bouquets of Grief.
Tears fall
Like flower petals
Softly to the ground,
The bouquets of grief.
In the mirror
My lonely eyes
Are gazing prayers
In the wordless void.
People who love me
Drift away in the emotional farewells
Beyond human control.
I don’t know
If anyone special
Ever returns.

Simple Clothes
When love is not enshrined
In unrealizable romantic notions,
But wears the simple clothes
Of ordinary kindness,
Then everybody’s face
Is as lovely
As July’s greatest rainbow
After a tempestuous storm.
Keep your heart warm
And see God
In the delicate smile
Of everyone.

Beneath Delicate Feet
The fear is terrible
And my heart is weak
When I see you distressed
Or painfully displeased
With the fading smile
Of a withered rose.
God creates Goddesses
For men to adore,
But it is such a cruel joke
To live life at their feet
With absolutely no hope
Of making them happy!

Fragile Wineglass
Everyone I know
Is a fragile wineglass
In a lonely, heartbroken woman’s hand
Who is about to faint in overwhelming sadness.
That is why love and compassion is essential
As you walk through this existence:
Everyone is beautiful but faltering
On the weary stairwell of despair.

Parting Kiss
The fragile life
Of a newly born baby
Helpless
In the world of adults
Journeys paths
Exciting, bland,
Hopeful, sad,
Optimistic, despairing,
With strength, weakness,
Fortitude, feebleness,
Eventually becoming
Flower seed in the earth
After a parting kiss
Accompanied by tears.

Keep Praying To Daisies and Purple Hyacinths
Love glows today
Like afternoon sunlight.
Keep praying to daisies
And purple hyacinths
And put your summer clothes on.
Walk slowly in the soft grass,
Let me see your painted toenails,
I adore your ankles in sexy sandals.
Massaging your bare shoulders,
I’ll dissolve into you.
