Times A' Tickin'

Its half past forever...
And i'm wastin' no more time--
I gotta get through...
Your reason and your rhyme;

Gotta make sense--
Of the things that you do--
Gotta find answers...
To the enigma thats you;

Its half past forever--
And i'm wastin' no more time--
I gotta get through...
Your reason and your rhyme;

Gotta try to understand...
Why your heart is so cold--
Gotta find out...
Before i get too old;

Time Changes Everything

Across the mountains of once believed...
Where Good Shepherds Lead Their Flock-
I found a sweetheart residing there-
Who ignored the hands of the clock;

Over the mountains of Majesty...
Under the skies deep paisley blue-
I found a sweetheart residing there-
Who promised to love me true;

Leaving me nary a broken heart...
Painting rainbowed dreams inside of my head...
Leading me down the path of no return...
Into the Garden Of Love I was led;

Once in the ecstacy of this floral dream-
We wrapped ourselves into: 'One'
Embracing one another as no other...
Under Edens most heated Sun;

Joyce Storms

A deluge of thoughts blanket me...
Once steadied by the shade but no more
The rain is now steadily pouring
And in the background a Requiem Mass opens sorrows door.
So many years ago beloved friend...
You joined two very lonely lives
Learning of your much too early departure belatedly
Tears now overcome mine eyes.
Cancer and its ruthless ravaging...
Over took your brillant blue eyes
My Matron of Honor-you shall always be
Even though this heart of mine cries
HollyPark will always be the beginning...
Where you and your better half led me
And i will always hold your memory dearly
Even though now, i must grieve.
A candle will always burn for you, dear one
Because of your blessed friendship, beloved Joyce
You've been with God and His Angels now 6 years
I do understand our loving Gods choice

Gods Call Pain And All

Once lost in the wilderness--
Overwhelmed by the towering trees...
Confused by the green branches-
But comforted by the breeze;

All alone in the meadow--
Where the Larkspur doth grow--
But i am enchanted in the valley...
'Neath the moons most heavenly glow;

I am alive in the Garden...
With my sweet red rose--
Imbued with all of the colours-
I am inspired to write this prose;

Gathering up all of Gods nature...
With my quill i shall write...
A journal about needed nurture...
'Neath Gods most loving sight;

Remembering November

I do remember November...
It's cool, sharp call,
The cool breeze had all but disappeared,
But the wind, it came, upon us all.

Bundled up with our ascots...
Leather gloves for our hands,
Long woolen leggings to keep them warm,
And fur lined suede boots, on which to stand.

A flurry or two is cast for the morrow...
With winds gusting, to perhaps thirty-five,
Wind chill factor of fifteen,
With a temperature, thatr could freeze a cows hide.

Ice cicle formations begin to dangle...
Hanging as decorations from midnight eaves,
The roof believes that they are ornaments,
For at christmas time, they are well received.

Designer

Comfortably ensconced in your cavalier motif...
I reach for you but only jagged edges appear-
And there 'tis no solace from the bitter night...
Its harsh brandishings flash 'cross my eyes-my dear;

Fear catches my once bated breath...
And closes my in ways and out ways-tight...
Shadows onced abated in the languishing of noon...
Now creep back-in the darkness of a moonless night;

You are a dapper knight of the lost and forlorn...
Who captivated and captured my all...
Why-oh-why does this night seem so menacing?
With many shades of a bitter swift fall?

So comfortably ensconced in your cavalier motif...
Seduced by your remnants of cloth...

Summer Of My Life

It was early summer
... Before the full green set in
When the lawns de-winterizing
Awoke
To a Yellowish Brown
New floor had not been formed
Not yet ready for
The Tropical Palm;
The white cloud days
Pushed at the Baby-Blue constantly
While the circular Tangerine Sun,
Peeked out surreptitously;
Back in the Era -
When days grew long -
Where the light shown -
The Mud and The Flower -
Yesteryear in the Summer -
Of my Okay and ugly ways -
I remember the good and bad -
Of my many, Summer hours;

A Return Of A Raw Memory

Destiny and Fate played with my memory-
Comin' round' to my back door-
Knocking-knocking-knocking...
Bringing back my days of yore;

All of my memories came flooding-
To back when Fate and Destiny became one...
Back to when you and i where like the endless blue sky...
A couple who shined as the Sun;

We were all that glittered as Gold...
We were all that mattered way back then-
Together as one we shown as the Sun...
Destiny and Fate are playing with this memory again;

Gone are the smiles that finally came 'round...
After our most bitter good-bye...
I was so over you-once we were through...
That i had nary a tear to cry;

Rewind

Your hands pervade my very being...
As tiny droplets of sweat upon my brow
Saturate my every pore there...
Enraptured in the then and now;

You forever hold the passerpartout of my very core...
The essence of me-thus tried and true...
Never to be made of papiermache or ormolu-
Never counterfeit when i am with you;

Your arms forever delight me...
In heated splendour we simply sizzle and spark...
Even in the freezing rain of a harsh November-
Even in the tremulous of the dark;

The Grandfather clocks hands are moving counter-clockwise...
Reversing the seconds and moments spent in your arms-
Taking me back in gentle surrender...
Completely surrendering-to your irresistible charms;

Between

...In between the Dawn of Morn,
........And the blanketing of Night,
...Is the day, full of visuals -
......Graced with God's, colour filled delights!

......We have the Graceful Rise and fall,
....Of many a Mountain Range,
......And the circling of the Globe,
........With the Oceans, And other Tidal Change!

...The Tall and Regal Evergreens -
.....DogWood to Mighty Oak -
.........Roses abd Daffodils, abloom,
........In refreshing, Spring Rains, they soak!

...We have, the Regal Cardinal -
......The Humble Sparrow and Blue Jay -
........The Monarch Butterfly and Honey Bee -
.........So much beauty, they fill the day!
