Santa Fe Recipes

... Its hotter than a Cat on a Hot Tin Roof
...Sizzling like a Friday Afternoon...
Heated like the Passion of the Summer Sun
...Brillant like the Glow...
When day is near done
...Radiant like the Moon Beams...
On a Once In A Blue moon Night
...Its a rare glistening-scorching...
'Well Done'...Of a afternoon of delight!

Fumble-Reach-Search

...I fumbled for your hand...
But lost it...
Somewhere near-
Paradise Land...

I reached for your sweet arms...
But they were gone...
Lost in The Ethereal...
Of an early Summer Dawn...

I searched for your tender sweet lips-
...But they had all but disappeared...
Lost in the moment...
...Of all of our yesteryears! ...

Nineteen-Sixty-Three

Roses are Red
The Sea is Blue
June comes next
With another clue;

Words are said
The Garland is new
Eyesight is correct
Junes covered in dew;

Friendships are dead
Over what a todo
Answers from tests
Shine on the stew;

Secrets kept in ones head
Come back to bite you
My June is truly blessed
For we know whats true;

Tangerine Morn

The sky 'twas tangerine this morn'
With an eccentric mauve overtone
Spilling o'er the arbored countryside
Across the gardens stepping stones;
The trees all limber and dressed for April
Chiseled in the backdropp O'this pastel space
Flowers e'er shimmering with life-echoed-
Surely, this 'tis Springtimes longed for face;

The HoneyMoon

...Countless moments in floral aroma-we bask
Embraced-the lovers-in fragrance-mask
...Morning awakens-from sleep-time task
...NightTime slumber? -We needn't ask!

Two Honeymooners love their bed...
With thoughts of many acts in their heads...
For them-'tis nothing left un-said...
...As their total passion has been fed!

Everything

Tonight
'Neath a silken moon
Bathed in
Texas starlight
You came to me
Upon a
Whispering breeze
Out of love
Offering only
Everything
Little did
You know
Buried in
My longting heart
That you
And only
You
My darling
Beyond any
Shadow of

~Garden Of Beauty~

Where beauty lies sleeping
In the Valley O' Green
She 'tis surrounded by
A sun-drenched sheen
Amongst the Lillies
And Lilac's in repose
All the pleasure in naptimes
Close
Reflections of grandeur
And beauty supreme
Reflects off of
Downy Brook Stream
Fair maidens and flowers
They all do grow
Asleep or awake in the
Vallley below!

My December

Relentless Winter lays itself white
Far below the mountains spires
Muted tones of off white and grey
Linger near a warming fire;
Hearthside altars of a family nest
'Neath a cathedral ceiling cabin in the wood
Struggles to burn and linger it's warmth
In the silver white frosty wooded neighborhood;

Autumn Kissed

The brillant orange, it billows-
The tawdry burnt, to brown-
The air 'tis filled with aroma of chestnuts-
And Mesquite wood, fills the breeze, in our town!

'Tis a brillant, crisp, Metamorphis-
As a catapillar to: The Monarch, Butterfly-
It reminds me, of this change, in season-
With the Golden and Dark leaves, blowing in the sky-
