Coming to Terms
Peeking through the yellowed drape
A ray of hope shines in.
Outside the world awaits
While inside, my mind, it spins.
Listening to the Nature
The Pride of the Bumble Bee
Or the Aristocrat Of The Song Bird
Truly, it does entice me.
SO long,
Locked inside
This prison of Doom and Gloom
Where feelings of physical pain
And mental misery
Fill up my wailing room.
A room where too many tears are shed

Love Hurt's
You had become my reason for arrising
And for retiring upon the show of the moon
For my brillantly coloured dreams of joy
And my totally bliss-filled afternoon's
All it took was a touch from your gentle hand
A caress upon my excited earthly shell
It carried me off into Elysium Lands
Where Soul-Mates loving hearts oft dwell
The stokes of your body arched in your giving
My shell complying and receiving
The sweet nectar's of your abilities
And the total ecstacy upon completing
Complementing to one another we were
A reflection of you and i in the sea
Total mirror images play back to us
The truth-you complete the whole of me

Beloved
An ancient river carries your name-
In silver caverns so deep-
A Princess sits crying her heart out-
In the depths of sorrow, she continues to weep.
Calling her name only echos return-
Bleeding hearts are broken into-
Shallow niche's under a rippling spring-
Under paisley skies of colbalt blue.
Come calling my sweetness-
Into the nation of butterfly and bee-
Come calling my beloved-
Come caling, come calling to me.
Aristocrats of ancient lore-
Come knocking-
Come knocking -
Come knocking upon your door...

Deepest Cut
Deep downside of The River--
Near the cliffed ravine---
Lays a silver feather...
Left behind by the Graven Queen;
Her heart bloodied...
Sliced chambers-no longer whole...
Running free into the canyons of yesterday...
Taking all of her soul;
For it 'tis the deepest cut--
That slice of malicious mean...
That stormed the raging river of blood--
And took the life of the Graven Queen;
Once romanced and filled with lust...
She lived in desires hand...
Courted by her King of Disaster--
In a long dying land;
Fate would be their witness...
As Providence most always has its way...
The deepest cut has at last surrendered...
Itself- into the Earthen Clay;

What's Cooking?
Simmering on life's back burner
I have observed you coming to a full boil
Bubbling with heat...
Rage does have it's way with you
Your hardened arteries struggling with change
Senile rage overcomes you...
As you try again and again to get your point across!
You are a direct contradiction you know
'Movie stars are trash' (but not Eastwood) !
There is no way to turn your burner off
Though we'd love to;
You always arriving un-invited
Slinking through the back door
Elderly spy that you are
Teeming with red heat
Obviously not knowing any better
Never seeing the light
Or just not caring;
You boil on rant after rant...
One minute praising God

Beauty-Defined~
I can't remember tuna sanwiches
Ever tasting so good
Or chicken noodle soup, so tasty;
Must have always been the cook;
The company that i was blessed
To keep...
Back in the day when big-hearted
People were scarce;
When their smiles and uplifting
Words raised me up out of the
Dodrums of sad and confused;
She was like that you know-my Joyce...
A ray of blessed sunshine in the
Cold Seattle rain; And her laughter-
Her laughter was contagious-
And even after all of these years
I can still remember it! ;
What a gift she was-
A best friend, confidant and an
Angel in disguise;

DayTripper
It was a sort of insanity
......A mind playing tricks on my eyes
.Hallucinations of magpies and marshmallows
......Floated through apricot skies
It was a breathtaking soiree' of sorts
......The sky was on fire with orange flame
.Below the tango was being danced incognito
......And animated characters walked the Red Carpet of Fame
It was a major 'Happening'
......Of disproporshinate size
.It sparkled with the colours of The Rainbow
......And ended in the occident with Rapsberry skies
Yes, the sun set on this day dream tripper
......And my brain, it came back down to Earth

Final Nail? ~
i fight the urge to decompose!
To loose it all...
To say way too much...
To spill my guts, so to speak;
Oh, the injustice of it all!
Greed does horrific things to souls;
Have lost track of the tally
Of how many home invasions happened-
Of how many things inside were doctored...
Steps taken in our home when we were GONE;
Over the years-a thousand tears-unsettled fears!
Like a bunch of vultures circling-
Watching-waiting-antiscipating-scann ing-planning
For their very next opportunity! ;
Victims already twice-of idenity theft-idenity fraud!
The Law and legal system knows of our woes all too well!
Today, things are different
Today, we are 2012-updated!
Interior designed with the latest and yes the best;
Now WE wait for that video, long awaited, including sound

Mrs. Weatherby
Woe to you Mrs. Weatherby...
So greedy, self centered, always first
Real feelings are not hidden anymore...
Love only, your unquenchable thirst;
Rebecca, Rebecca, Rebecca...
Leaving your Andrew, just standing there!
Doing what Susan would never have done...
And what Martha, surely wouldn't dare;
So caught up in your 'Real World'
Is July 3rd, always a Happy B-day?
Post office boxes and moving around, constantly..
Insurance for Andy's birthday, come May?
Lost track of how many times that we read it!
A Southwest saying for sure-
'You're always first...real feelings...love only'
Today, are you feeling more secure?
Real estate investing now, Rebecca?
Or marketing insurance, Ms. Monroe?
Oops, sorry about using your former name...
What a viscious web you've woven & look how it still grows! ! ! !

I Colour My World
Within the colours of this day--
I find myself recounting the days gone by...
Cherishing every blessed memory...
While gazing at the sky upon high;
I colour myself a warm shade of pink...
As i reminisce over past glorious time...
I colour myself red-with a love memory-in my head-
All collected together and written in rhyme;
I colour myself various shades of blue...
In remembering the loss and sorrows of my past...
That took a large part-of my heart...
These memories ever-engrained to last;
I colour my memories a bright yellow...
As i bask in reminders of my days 'neath the sun...
Happiness back then-and the where and the when...
All-a multi-shade of ONE!
