I Am Like The Temple Bell!
Darling dear!
I am like the temple bell
high above in solitary cell!
Activate me through the rope of love-
I will forever in your life
generate musical melodies-
And in the realms of winds
will ring out and reverberate our love!

I played a Melody of Greenery!
A blade of grass
Yearning for a dropp of water
Greyed in its painful penance..
With a pitiful tremble fed it
With a pailful of water
And quenched its thirst in great humility.
O on the nerves the earth
I played a Melody of Greenery!

Beauty Is A Simple Melody
beauty is a simple melody
lingering ever in our thoughts
not as a struggle but a cherished dream -
it never dazzles as the midday sun
but glows warmly of its inner soft brilliance
and puts us on a gentle swing.

Booting Out The Dust
booting out the dust of the house onto the streets
and inviting it back on the floors of the house
remind the venting out of our grudges in monologues
and flooding in others' grievances into the portals of our minds-
a task untiringly performed by one and all.

The Song Of The Rain
i was born pure at the heights of the skies
soiled as i planted passionate kisses on earth
painful though, but to become the life sustaining force
causing the green carpet of life dance in glee everywhere.
yes..it is blessed to be soiled for the sake of others' joy.

Birthdays-Cheerless Junctions..!
My birthdays-
Cheerless junctions
Of journey's traumatic Past
And uncertain launch
Into labyrinthine Future;
Looking back
Behind my shoulders
Only my dark shadows
Largely loom.
In front,
Devilish scares
Of a moral-less world
Amidst which unscathed
To chart my course

The Dance Of Tongue
On the streets of cities
seeded thick with people
impossible it is to swing our arms
as we try to inch along-
So also in the lanes and bylanes of life
words spoken turn into sharp thorns-
In the mindless dance of the carefree tongue
cracks in plenty sprout on the heart platforms!

Behind Our Facades...!
As many individuals
So many religions!
So many worlds
As many minds!
One versus another
Relentless clashes!
With great care
Lighted oven of jealousy!
Very unitedly cooked
Dish of disunity!
Selfishness alone
Our private property!
Rooted out as venom
Our Universal Love!

My Heart Yearns For Melodies
my heart yearns for the melodies
that move in glistening streams skirting me
into which to slowly immerse myself
tasting every sweet word of the creation
with half-closed dreamy lids
in the solemn silence of the starry night
on the banks of the flowing time
gently fanned by the soft breeze.

I am floored down..!
I am floored down
By the persistent stings
Of small small worries!
Even the smallest worry waves
Erode my banks of rollicking spirits!
But-
Mammoth calamities
In vice-like grip shake you
With cyclonic furies !
However...
Your silence
Never gets shaken
Nor uprooted!
O. tell me-
How deep are your Roots !
