Your Holiness The Autumn Season!
YOUR HOLINESS, THE AUTUMN SEASON!
Hey, Autumn Season!
Who has banished you to this incognito life?
Or is it a self-imposed exile
From the Festivals of the Earth?
Why so much detachment?
Don't you develop any liking for the life?
Is life's burden so unbearable?
Shedding all your Leaves mercilessly
You stand in discreet silence
Displaying your bones unashamedly!
Every season in a unique style
Decorates itself, don't you know?
Haven't you learnt that art, why you alone?
Don't you have any desire of your own?
Do you prefer only this saintly life?
For what is this punishing penance?
For how many more days

O My Baby.. Where Had You Gone? [ part-1 ]
[ Part-1 ]
A death had occured within me;
Alas!
Nevertheless from my depths
why a voice feebly coos?
My little bird lost itself in the vast skies...
Does it now search for me
helplessly with tearful eyes?
Lo.my bird!
Your mom from here tears herself in pitious cries...
With broken wings your mom
beat furiously upon her bosom, o dear..
All my mind skies have become deserted;
The misery dumps dense darkness
in the fields of my eyes..

Years Ago In Textile Showrooms...!
Years ago in textile showrooms
Eye-rivetting model replicas were on disply
Of both gents and ladies in great style
In ivory skin-tones looking gorgeous
In neatly dressed up colourful costumes
As if angels and fairies are treading on flower-feet
And blowing away our minds and thoughts
Dreaming passionately for a real life companion
With no heart to tear away our lingering looks!
In stage two, pitch-dark shapes
In uncaring looks and immodest postures
In so-called all modern outfits
Usurped these angels' glass-temples
Paining our looks with disgust!
There came stage three, these models
Again presented with still more atrocity
In clean-shaven heads, o both sexes,
In bitumen dark colours in featureless faces

A Son's Appeal To A Doting Mom
Mother! beside me sit-
I am to open my mind to you today-
You delight me with your affection
But spoil me also many times
With excess of your eyeless love!
You worry too much about my hunger
But never seem to care about my health;
You pester me at bed to wake up from sleep
Only to overfeed me with your greed of love.
All my pleas for a minimum of exercise
Miserably fail to knock your ears!
Adamant are your mindless insisting calls
That seem to eat away my flesh and bones-
Mom..don't you know that excess of any,
Including love, is highly detrimental
To the object of love one does cherish!

Firm is my Faith.! True is your Promise.!
The stampeding flash floods
Gobble away in greedy bites
The broad banks
Of this lonesome river
Like a victorious army
In vengeful assault.
The fresh floods
Roll and tumble,
Foam and swirl
And ruddy in fury blind
Thunder aloud
In downstream rush.
Their spirited 'ho..ho.ho's
Hang in the air
And ring everywhere.
The warring winds
Harshly lash the rain
Tearing its fleshes

Are you well, Maa?
'Ammaa..! '
I am fully aware
at your ripe nineties
how much would you
yearn for your dear ones-
especially riding your bed
to meet your death-
yet I have not visited you
for months at stretch
for reasons very privy to me-
unforgivable is my act;
but how can I tell you
I love you so much ' Maa'?
I have so much in heart
to share with you-
all through my journey
I seem to sit beside your feet
and in continuous chat
with my head on your thighs!
I seem to empty all my heart

I Give Birth To A Poem!
I GIVE BIRTH TO A POEM!
I am about to give birth to
a Poem!
I totter, engulfed by the unbearable,
Yet sweet intoxicating pains
With razor-sharp edges,
Striking me blind
With brilliant flashes in quick succession!
The war-drums of pains thunder-dance on me,
Hissing furiously like venomous cobras,
And striking fast knifing their fangs at my waist!
Oh! that designated moment has just arrived!
The sharp jabs of its steely second-hand
Erupt in me massive pains of roaring waves;

Mass Exodus Empties The Villages!
Mass Exodus Empties The Villages!
*******************************************Mass exodus empties the villages;
Stench and selfishness pervade the cities;
Cash-crop of buildings are cultivated in wet fields;
Seeds of famine are actively sown in the womb of earth;
Poor peasants in simple attires
Boil in their hot sweats;
Full-trousered flashy crowds
Have bloated in vitamines and fats;
In the mighty breath of vast cities
All four directions are in shambles;
Greenery has evaporated;
Even the cow has degenerated as a buffallo;
Diseases in numerous dresses

Oh, She Is Such A Beauty!
sometimes we are stunned by ' beauties ';
oh, she is such a beauty-
a simple beauty, an unadorned charm!
alas, she herself quite unaware
of her innocence in blissful radiance;
she is not wealthy, a poor
but rich in beauty's excellence!
everything about her professes dignity
and anything she does is gentle in grace
and does possess a natural poise;
she seems to speak yet not;
o, her beauty speaks in whispers with the wind:
your age does not decline the treat of her beauty;
it spreads on her like the unshaken shadow
on the still waters of a limpid lake-
her beauty manures not vulgar vultures of the mind
but transforms you as an ardent devotee of beauty!
o how could it be she the mother of two grown kids
that garland their arms around her lovely neck!
her fair skin seems quite strange for her social status
