Oh.........those Teachers
OH………THOSE TEACHERS
There are several one ways
a few make road sense ‘as traffic rules'
those borrowings friends do wantonly default
and numerous outgo, we ourselves often forgot
though married, most of us love for a second phase
forbidden love never comes to the fore
so, is the case with our beloved children
of late, wanting to pair up to their own selection
The timely help that someone renders
But, we fail to re-duplicate the same kindness
somehow our selfis h soul is happy at the benefits
that we knowingly discredit by such one way practice
Patience, alms, sacrifices, tolerance and so on
are one way or other the hallmarks of good signs

Married But Not A Parent
MARRIED BUT NOT A PARENT
We have a couple living in the upstairs
sound of music, through the windows always blare
their house is full of modern wares,
yet, they are as sad, as having been lost in a desert so bare
a decade of marriage with pills and pilgrimages
cursing remarks befall on them in barrage
for some unknown defects in their human hardware
harvesting a child is to them, the biggest nightmare
one plus one, how much they would spend
with their bank balances growing in leaps and bounds
the purchasing power they have and wield
is not just enough for them, to fish out a child
not every child is the best asset
nor every parent is proud of his product

Colour Blindness
COLOUR BLINDNESS
She is not able
to remember well
my very face,
as we use to criss-cross daily
on the half a mile foot over-bridge
exactly at the same time -
for over a year
without even a pinch of love
What a shame! ! Disaster to my manliness;
I should now either change
my timings or my route
to have a new target girl
as I have drawn zero
from the previous rounds
sadly, as I was treading the ‘Z' bridge
a stout, simple girl, in all her shyness

The Faithful God
In a sudden stunt action
If, God who sits always idle
Shows up His very presence
…………in front of me;
and orders me to list out
my wants and desires, which
He is pleased to grant, at once,
by His powers of miracles.
Bewildered….I may certainly babble
as I do not keep
a ready list of items of demands
on my table
for, I have a cart load
of demands of various nature
and needed some grasping time
to arrange them in a priority order.
to avoid slippages or miss out of

Conscience
CONSCIENCE
The invisible monster sitting on my forehead
as an inseparable S P Y shadowing wherever I tread
threshes and tears me down threadbare
for the acts and thoughts, if not are clean and fair
It holds me tightly onto its mighty chain
like a master strolling with his brute-Alsation
every soul has a luring but sinful plain
where we love to be lost in fun and chagrin
The third umpire, perched on the far- off tower
amidst an array of controls, with over-ruling powers
dotting us inch by inch on his watchful screens
switching on right signals, when we look him up in vain
It is not a policeman, but policing is its duty too
Not a friend of mine, but has the right to correct me through

Bulky and Beautiful - Burdensome Love
I came to this sleepy village
to manage my aunt's cashew farm
sincerely was on the job, till
bulldozed flat by a fleshy bul-bul
she boards the bus to school
in full view, through the windows of our hall
I tap on her back by a low-key whistle
turning back, she responds with a consoling smile
fatty and bulky is itself a beauty
broad, shinning open shoulders
twin folded curved belly, hot bun cheeks
slow voice, leisurely walk and of benevolent heart
I hang around near the bus stop, every evening
to witness the Jumbo's safe, scenic landing
over-sized breasts jolting very precariously
marvellously on her heels, to a perfect self-balancing

The Warranty Clause
THE WARRANTY CLAUSE
So many of us are quite averse to use a dictionary
As it endangers in exposing our own level of illiteracy
With the limited stock of fixed vocabulary
We try to show off a fair and workable intimacy
We are in full praise for the toil of Mr. Sammuel Johnson
Let the literary worry of all those jargons
As a layman, I am not to run after the apt, best words
Neither I make it a profession as a teacher of English
Since my word power skills are too narrow and shallow
I fear poetry as hard tablets to swallow
At one reading it ought to go down the throat like milk- halwa
Without my having to overdo for just to grasp and follow
For an average reader with extra winged interests
I have an infant mix in a feeding- bottle ready
Lazy or busy, you are sure to be at ease and stirring

Unjust Inactions
When I was young and frolic
I was full of good many ideals
wishing to marry an handicapped girl
I apprised my parents, of such a proposal
Still, I remember that girl's rich face
innocently showing her afflicted legs
very hopefully, she awaited this connection to mature
but, my parents were old-fashioned; posted their rejection
I was just a tender man
submissive, polite, timid and a non-fighter
though it irked me to my inner most core
I had no guts nor vision for a war of nerves
as wished, by parents, I then married
Into a family with all rituals and falsehood
I am now 40 - do am I happy?
by twisting my life-line, what my parents have achieved!

Popeye The Sailorman
First time, when dating with your lady love
before you embark onto a ship of LOVE
make sure, you can swim back alone to the shores,
If abandoned in a wreck, as your dreams are belied en-route
because, your voyage is full of risks
tossed high and low through hidden rocks
off the banks, dark and direction-less
day and night with she-sickness
sharks, whales and poisonous snakes
silently closeting the hull under the waves
you need to keep the lady
in good humour and enchanted
with a fatty purse, on a spending melee
to please her utmost, with all she wanted
in mid sea, she may demand
a bunch of flowers or a pair of new sandals

Persona Grata
When I was just
One and twenty
I had a special urge
For the next door beauty
She was too clever,
Knowing I had gone on loose gear
Liberal showing in catchy appearances
Till, I fell clear in total madness
She roasted me daily in my bed
Since, I was then such a coward
That we had not spoken a letter even
Nor exchanged anything in mutual good sign
For long, I was a slave in chain
Before her every ‘perfect tens'
I was so shabby, rugged and unmatched
In her race, I had no merited chances
