Odd Desire
I wish to be born next
In Sweden
In a hustle free tiny hamlet
Deep into the woods, besides a rivulet
Not far from the Arctic ice
No noise, smoke or horn
Animal drawn cart is my mobile wagon
Living with nature by grazing the cattle
Enough for my needs, without any dreams
Resting as I please, devoid of tensions
Wood and glass cottages, with poking chimneys
Snowy raining, fur coats and warmth of champagne
Dead silence outside, still-picture landscape
Far from the politics and religious discourses
Meditating alone, into fine inner emptiness

Baby's First Day Out
Government General Hospital
Maternity Ward No. 42
authorized intake : 65
actually admitted : 97
most busiest LABOUR ROOM
in the district
every 18 th minute
you will hear a new born cry
birth rate is higher
on Sundays and Holidays
24 x 7 Industry - very great service -
in the large pre-natal hall
there hangs a small, old sign board
both in Hindi and vernacular
' Beware of Thieves
Keep your belongings safe'
with an ugly insertion, as a last line,

Lip Service
LIP SERVICE
The church is almost empty
Lit with candles
Under deserted alters
No hymns or music
Nor any distortions
Perfect silence
Is the hour - God lends his ears
For my prayers, smiles and feelings
Shown in perfect stillness
You need not sing,
Shout, weep, clap or cry
To take your prayers
to the soaring heights
Your deeds are being watched
Minute after minute,
- as who never sins
can even need not pray

The Dethroned God
THE DETHRONED GOD
God has made
A costly mistake
Having made the man
Whom He believed would never overtake
As God is known for His perfections
He gave man the brain as his work-station
Dispelling all His expectations
Man, now questions His very presence
God is now weeping all day and night
Seriously working on an antidote
Or to do some corrections of such a magnitude
Precisely, to check man's aggressive turpitude
But, God has no council of Ministers,
Ordinances, nor able scientific advisors

Hypnotic Prayers
(read this poem little loudly & discover its unique rhyme)
I have not loved a Helen of Troy
to wage a war on a huge wooden toy
I have not loved a Rani of Jhansi
to line up in a battle to win her fancy
I have not loved a Phoolan Devi Bai
to train my guns to keep her enjoy
I have not loved a Sharmila Tagore
to spend a few lakhs for a bubble in a shore
I have not loved a Ishwarya Rai
for I am not the only son of a Sheikh Dubai
I am in love with you, a very common girl
working in railways as a reservation clerk

Self-examination
SELF-EXAMINATION
I am just a small man
with usual weaknesses of all kind
and I try to understand all others
as each one, has few riches superfine
I put my self on guard
Not to injure anyone so hard
by the slip of the tongue's lancers,
untamed uttering flying as bouncers
being neutral, has its own advantage
courtesy and politeness proves one
as a good personality, cutting a clear edge
among all our acquaintances
though I am aware of all these goodness
I am still a starter, lacking in fineness

Without The Touch Of Science
WITHOUT THE TOUCH OF SCIENCE
Science is full of inventions
and it has numerous tools of destruction
It ought to be friendly to the common man
Lest no use of having those super brains
Why should we send man to the outer-space?
looking for life on a distant planet's face
to give them drugs, religion, bombs and vices
corrupting them at par with our worldly masses
we are deceived, not helped by Science, in the larger sense;
commercializing its use, fruits for private gains
Had I was born in some ancient times
I would have been a different soul,
...............WITHOUT THE TOUCH OF SCIENCE.

Life Convict
From the days of Socrates, the wives were cruel
Yet, we keep on to marry - thinking she is life real
No honest man will say that he is happy
At his wife, with her given habits and life styles
Seamless love is a very distant dream
With a ever quarreling wife by your side
The desires for a joyous, peaceful, spotless stream
Can only be a mirage, washed down by the endless tides
And so, we distract the bridegroom on deceptive importance
With uneasy suit, garlands, flood lights, smoke, sound & rituals
To ensure that he remains blind-folded at least that day
Till he walks into the treacherous trap ….as a LIFE CONVICT.

A Booster Dose
A BOOSTER DOSE
On the way to my office
I slowdown at a point, quite intently
In a simple desire, to have a lengthy glimpse
At one who keeps standing there, hot and sweet
In Vimal collections of subtle shades
With nil make-up, but a volte face
Nature's the best soft-squeeze doll
Soothing sight for the passers by
From the way she presents her up
No old and bald can shut and fly
Spicy looks that you sip and bite
Can does in you, the spells of Glucon-D
Stops and starts of the boring life
Need a refueling station just like this

Bra (Lingerie)
The bra is the
Most exotic body-wear
Too small and of only a handful
Much less than an hand-kerchief
Unladed weight of a very few ounces
Cross-stitched, padded, & deceitful
And has dangerous narrow pass
Just as the Panama canal
Connecting the sweating oceans
Suspended hairline-laces
Of an accurate physical balance
With delicate twin pans
To manage the mass weight
Of differing sizes
And a tolerance mechanism
That gets adjusted itself
