Plan of Creation
Life's terms, life's rules.
Rules made up by life,
But not the creator of life.
Life tries to challenge the rules of the creator.
It tries to change the rules of the creator.
But the creator can never be changed.
Nor can His rules.
He should never be challenged.
His wisdom and knowledge is the design.
For I am not the designer.
I am merely a part of the plan.
Of the overall design.
A beautiful creation, by a beautiful creator.
My mind is my cage, my box.
To live outside the box is to be truly free.
The creator's creation is creative.
But I am only a piece of the puzzle.

He Loves You
His love will conquer anger
His love defies all words
He hears all the prayers that are spoken
And all the prayers unheard
His love is unconditional
He loves you when your wrong
He loves you when you disobey
His love for you is strong
He loves you when you stumble

He loves us so much more than words
He really loves us all
He loves you when you call His name

It's raining hard.
The lightning flashes.
The Thunder Rolls.
Your life, it crashes.
The wind picks up.
Sky fades to black.
The air now cold.
No looking back.
Trudging forward.
Filled with fear.
The storm intensifies.

Control
I have none,
So it's time to let it go.
It makes life unmanageable,
More than you know.
People are hurtful,
Their opinions cause pain.
Making them something they're not.
Will drive you insane.
So just let things be,
Let them lie where they may.
Change just what you can.
And live day to day.
You may disagree,
With what others do think.
But trying to change them,
Brings you to the brink.

Afterlife
We travel down the winding road of life.
We are only visiting.
One day, we will find ourselves home again.
Looking back on our short stay.
Did you embrace the pain?
Did it help you grow?
Did you just give up?
Or did you fight on like a determined soldier?
Wars are not won by those that walk away.
Victory will not be tasted by those that are not afraid to be bitten.
Count your blessings daily.
Both the good and the bad..
The good make us appreciate.
The bad make us appreciate more.
After the dead of winter, a bud emerges from the snow.
It brings new life.
A symbol that the old leads to birth of the new.
For every death symbolizes rebirth.

Growing Pains
The glass is half empty,
Yet, there is still something there.
Discouragement, pushing us towards greatness.
Iron sharpens iron, by friction, not apathy.
The greater the odds, the greater the payoff.
Miracles are believed in, before they are seen.
My biggest defeats,
Were my greatest victories.
What I was, became the contrast to who I wanted to be.
If I didn't experience my worst,
How would I know my best?
We all experience growing pains, inch by inch.
Sometimes the growth is a spurt.
We reach new heights, as we allow ourselves to grow.
The temporary locks us in time,
I grow anxious as time stands still.
I want to move forward,
But I must remain still.

Today is our anniversary
9 years have gone by so fast
I wish it could be like our first one
But sadly enough it's our last
I remember our hearts

When we said our vows

Investments
Who is paying the price for the debt we rack up?
We all do.
Time is the currency of life.
Invest your time in what you want to grow.
When you invest money, you make more money.
If you invest in war, then you will have many battles.
If you invest in hatred, then hatred shall multiply.
If you invest in love then love will grow.
Every investment is a risk
If you do not risk, then you do not see your investment grow.
Nobody is broke,
But we are all broken.
You can only spend each second once.
Once it is all spent, we leave our inheritance to our children.
What do I want to leave to my children?
For the sake of themselves and their children?
If we invest in love,
We invest in our children.
We are responsible for our own bank accounts,
But also for theirs.

Falling, I Rise
My idols, my desires,
My obsessions, my goals,
My destination.
Help me move forward in life?
Or make me idle.
Always just one step away,
But never quite there.
Never fulfilled, always despaired,
Just plain empty.
A mirage, in the desert of life.
The wind cannot be caught,
Although I chase it.
It can blow me away though.
I prefer a gentle breeze.
I love my idols.
I am loving them.
They do not love me back.
