I'm always there following after you
But not as a body guard, but as a friend
Through the times you're blue
I stick to you like glue
You push me away and don't trust me
You don't trust me as much as you trust your best friend
Pal, buddy, bestie, and chum are the words I hear
It comes from you every year
I'm not your best friend or bosom buddy
You just use me whenever your bff is not there as her replacement
No matter how nice I act towards you, I'm just your friend
